Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's newly released tax plan was given a blessing Monday by the nation's biggest anti-tax advocate, Grover Norquist, who said it would produce "jobs, jobs, jobs."
As Trump revealed his plan at a press conference, Norquist's influential Americans for Tax Reform released its review that Trump's plan is "consistent" with the advocacy group's "Taxpayer Protection Pledge."
ATR said that the Trump plan overall budget neutral, and reforms some of the current tax code.
On Twitter, Norquist wrote: "The @realDonaldTrump tax plan cuts business tax from 35% to 15%. This makes us competitive worldwide. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs."

Muslims>>> At your feet or at your throat
This gawd awful Muslims shill is now at Trumps feet
People need to know about the 250,000,000+ dead at the hands of muslims.
I’m quite clear about Islam. Are you?
Islam is a totalitarian death cult founded by a child rapist that results in awful societies everywhere it is implemented.
That a putative muslim happens to run an anti-tax organization is a black mark on that organization.
I’d reject his stamp of approval, and continue to run my anti-tax proposals in spite of the approval of an adherent to the evil “religion” of islam.
That is not “stupid”, it is well considered and informed. If you haven’t grasped these facts about islam and prepared yourself to act upon them, then look in the mirror for “stupid.”
(Rats. I capitalized “islam” a couple of times in there, and I try to maintain a standard of never giving it even that level of recognition...)
Id reject his stamp of approval, and continue to run my anti-tax proposals in spite of the approval of an adherent to the evil religion of islam.
Looks like Trump is doing just that, Miltie.
Where have you seen Trump give Grover any any affection?
Trump has been VERY clear on how he feels about radical islamics.
What is the purpose of your post?
AGree.
WSJ has also complimented Trump’s tax plan. I don’t care for WSJ’s mostly RINO ways...but, they are one of the prominent business publications.
It’s a plus for Trump.
What, stock markets don’t only go up?
Wow, this is news to me. /s
This run up of the market was artificial IMO.
There was no compelling reason for it.
Other than the market continually going up, what impressive thing has happened in the business environment to justify it?
Nothing.
Sales haven’t skyrocketed. Jobs haven’t increased. Businesses haven’t suddenly become way more sound. New infrastructure isn’t broadly being built.
For people who don’t have much extra income, that long-term capital gain goes down to 0%. That’s a real big deal for the middle class.
I didn’t know Trump’s position, so it sounds as though I was helping him stake it out.
Before anyone accepts the imprimatur of Mr. Norquist, they should first ask him whether he agrees with the majority of muslims in American that Sharia should trump the Constitution, and whether Mr. Norquist agrees with a substantial minority (25%) of American muslims that muslims should chop off YOUR head.
I think Trumps plan is lousy one, it leaves the current system intact with a few changes on rates, how is it going to bring back business when they know whenever a different administration in office all the taxes can go right back up again maybe in just 4 short years.
No I like the Cruz plan it is simple fair and eliminates the IRS as we know it, 7000 plus pages of regulation in the shredder.
Would not be surprise if Dow at 12k by December .
And 5k by election time.
If you’ve listened to Trump, which I gather you have not, you would know that.
You and Trump use the same term, regarding these islamic extremists....*chopping off heads*. He said it, again, in his interview on 60 Minutes, last night (”....was unbelievable what they did with James Foley and the cutting off of heads of everybody...”).
Do you honestly think Mr Trump requires your assistance to “help him stake out” his positions?
Wow.
While generally agreeing with Trump on accident, I find myself attacked by his supporters.
Nice.
Is that based on techs or fundamentals, P/E, growth rates of businesses? just curious.
Average P/E ratio isn’t really historically high at all
Is that what I wrote? Anyway, Trump did call Pam Geller an obnoxious blowhard AFTER the Garland attack.
TRUMP: The last thing we need is an obnoxious blowhard like Geller to go out and start trouble when theres no reason for it. Im a bigger believer in free speech than she is, believe me. This has nothing to do with free speech, this is taunting, and all it does is cause trouble.
She should be much more responsible because what shes doing is unnecessary. Shes a person thats doing this for her own purpose, Neil, and shes doing a terrible thing for our country.
Im much tougher than she is in any different way - whether its military, whether its beating ISIS or anything else.

No attack, just listed a few facts confirming your point, separating the implied connection.
So long as you maintain your superiority it’s all good.
