Grayson, KY – Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, will join supporters at a rally outside the Carter County Detention Center on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. ET. The “I’m with Kim” Rally is organized by Gov. Mike Huckabee. Liberty Counsel is willing to join any group that stands in support of Kim Davis.
“Not long ago 75 percent of Kentuckians passed the state’s marriage amendment. Today a Christian is imprisoned for believing what the voters affirmed, that marriage is between a man and a woman,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “Five people on the Supreme Court imposed their will on 320 million Americans and unleashed a torrent of assaults against people of faith. Kim Davis is the first victim of this tragedy.”
“I visited with Kim today, and she is good spirits,” Staver said. “I went to the jail to encourage her, but she encouraged me! Her opening and closing comment was, “All is well!”
“Kim Davis supporters have been calling, emailing, and using social media to ask, ‘What can I do to help Kim?’” Staver said. “I have already heard from pastors who are sending buses of supporters to the rally on Tuesday. If you are near Kentucky, here is a great opportunity to stand against judicial tyranny and the unlawful imprisonment of Kim. Join us on Tuesday, September 8, at 3:00 p.m.!”

I am no lawyer, but as a nurse I know I am protected from being forced to assist in an abortion procedure when the mother’s life is not in danger. There have been several cases where this right has been upheld in the U.S. Why do the same principles not stand in the case of Kim Davis???
I’m on a long auto road trip, now in Penn. Can’t go to Kentucky rally. As soon as a “give money” website is up, I’ll send her money for the lawyers.
I read that “Fund Me” website won’t let her gather money there due to they changed their rules and won’t let anyone under indictment gather money. You know “indictment” doesn’t mean guilty, but appears they think the person must be guilty.
If anyone knows now or later where we can give money, please ping me to that site. Thanks.

Yes...and that from John Jay, the ‘FIRST’ Supreme Court Chief Justice.....
“The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the Word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts”.....
Thanks for going there. Be sure to let us know how it was. Ping me for that news. I’ll be on the road between Ohio and Dallas, Texas, when that happens.

...”The US Constitution clearly leaves these matters to the states and the people. Control over marriage is not an enumerated power for the feds. Never has been. We did not and do not grant our consent for the federal government to unlawfully grab these unjust powers”.....Jim Robinson
Worthy of quoting.........
The Judge said one of the reasons he would ‘not’ fine her rather than arrest her is because her supporters would fund it, ( he said just that) thus doing so would not change her position in his thinking.
So this Judge is operating from a position of ‘control’...not law.
....” the two unelected branches the Judicial Branch and Executive Branch and of our government are completely out of control and exercising powers that our constitution and the founders never gave them or ever intended them to have.”....
Think coup de’tat.
....”You don’t put people in jail for not doing a job. You fire them”....
She ca’t be fired because she is an “elected” official....she can be impeached with they determined would be too costly....
Furthermore she’s actually been arrested FOR doing her job. ..as explained in this thread.
I'm hoping we can get some of these useless carpetbagger politicians to impeach that judge!!! Yeah... sure.
Thoreau would be proud, and so would our Founders!
I really had expected the judge to release her before now. Since he has not done so and her legal team appears to have done what they could to mitigate it, I would say that like everything associated with this gay marriage issue, they continue to browbeat, bully and now jail any objectors they can get their legal hands on.
Yes, and that is against the law to try to keep someone from obtaining bail. The judge had no legal reason to jail her in the first place.
If you are at your job, elected or not, and don't do your job, it is NOT a criminal offense. The judge had her arrested for “contempt of court”. He has no authority to tell her to go to work and do what he says or be arrested for contempt of court. He can't tell you what to do at your work, either. He has no jurisdiction over your work or her work.
You bet I will send money to help pay lawyers for this woman who is in jail due to being a Christian.
Trump doesn't understand the Constitution not does he understand law enough to know she was illegally arrested. He said the law had to be carried out so he thinks she is wrong and is rightly in jail.
I don't want a President who thinks it is okay for you to be arrested if you don't do your job. I personally think he is so narcissistic he thinks he is a king and can eliminate any resistance to what he wants and would be totally okay for jailing someone who didn't agree with him.
While I never bought into the O will not allow elections theory, it does look like he (they) are solidly behind BLM for some strange reason. But I am thinking that we the people were not suppose to wake up just yet. Could it be that imprisoning Kim Davis was a fluke that threw a monkey wrench into whatever O had planned for BLM and other similarly minded folks? I mean this persecution of a Christian certainly has lots of people wide awake and paying attention. Hmmmm, na that could never be.
Great idea. I agree.
I’m not sure what BLM has to do with this. Where are you going with it?
I am deeply troubled by this judges ruling of contempt, but it is way past time to bring the liberal idea of separation of church and state to an end.
The problem is not liberals in Congress or the White House..
The problem IS liberals in the PUBLIC.. and the press’s complete and though BRAIN WASH of “the People”..
Mostly democrats but a good amount of RINOs as well..
Most brain washed some are just stupid of actively evil themselves..
WHo do you know that ever read the US COnstitution.. OR ever wanted to read it.. or even cared about it..
Some don’t even know WE HAVE a Constitution.. and what it even “IS”..
America has been DUMBED DOWN by academia and the teacher’s union(s).. ON PURPOSE...
Union reps: “democrats mostly don’t you know”
Well all I am saying is that if the Marxists were cooking up something with the BLM people then there plans have been disrupted by the persecution of Kim Davis. The persecution of Kim Davis as woken up a lot of people to the dangers of the left. Everyone is now wide awake and paying attention.
Wrong. The problem is we never fought back, we never resisted, we always complied.
I get it. And good point. I will tell you that everyone’s on full alert around here regarding various stuff that is going on. This ramped it up quite a bit.
No.. YOU.... never fought back...
Me and everybody I know did fight back...
Many on FREE REPUBLIC did fight back..
The problem is the federal givernment in the education business..
and even the federal givernment in ANY business...
ALL republican Presidents since Reagan were LIBERALS..
you know.. PROGRESSIVES.. AND
D.TRump is a progressive.. like Newt Gingrich..
Newt talks a good game but brags about being PRogressive..
Newt did little to reduce the federal givernment..
AND TRUMP will increase the size of federal government.. just listen to him..
