What follows is an object lesson in why year-end best, worst and other lists shouldn't be published until the year actually ends.
A Kwanzaa "parade" was held in Los Angeles yesterday. In reporting on the event, CBS Los Angeles published a work of fiction which absolutely belongs on any 2014 list of most embarrassing moments in journalism (HT Twitchy; bolds are mine):

When you have to keep reminding people of the basic principles of anything, it isn’t legitimate to start with.
It is tantamount to reminding Jews what each day of Hanukah is about because they are so vacuous and transient (some might say this is a symptom of ADD) in their attention spans.
He earned it the Nawlins’ way. Graft and bribery. It’s good to be the King with all that bling.
Clarification: I do not intend to convey Hanukah and Jews are in any way comparable to Kwanza and its so-called adherents. The point is that Jews don’t need reminding. Their celebrations are real.

They “report” or publish whatever they feel will advance the narrative. Facts don’t matter

I agree. But you also have to admit that without benefit of Kwanza and its fake origins, Obama is still doing a very good job of dividing this nation.
For Kwanza to succeed fully, it will have to take on a more Islamic undertone - one that Obama can more readily agree with.
I saw a Video of the Parade on the local news. It was just a 10 Second shot.
They had a Float where a kid was holding up an “I can’t Breathe” sign, so I know it was this years Parade.

I live in Los Angeles there was a parade??? LOL!
So please understand that MOST people, way beyond just FReepers, understand the MSM bias and see right through it. This is true across America, coast to coast. The MSM makes it look like "most" Americans believe its BS, but the reality is that MOST Americans think the MSM is full of crap, just like MOST FReepers do. That is the good news that the MS never reports. Just as good, because if the MSM did report it, nobody'd believe it anyway!!!
