Lena Dunham has canceled two book tour dates in Europe amid accusations that she molested her sister when they were children.
The actress tweeted on Monday that she was no longer going to attend events in Belgium and Germany.
"To my Belgian readers, so very sorry to miss the Antwerp Book Fair today but I can't wait to come back and eat fries with you. Much love," she wrote. "German readers: I am deeply sorry to miss tomorrow's event in Berlin. I am so grateful for your energy and support. Mit viele liebe."
The "Girls" star, 28, has been criticized for passages in her book, "Not That Kind Of Girl," that detail experiences she had with her younger sister Grace when they were children.
In one paragraph, Dunham wrote that she offered her then-toddler sister "three pieces of candy if I could kiss her on the lips for five seconds ... basically anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl."

Lena who? Never heard of her and probably glad I haven’t from the sounds of this. Please, don’t anyone tell me who she is. I’m better off not knowing.
And one ugly bitch too. Even her stupid tatoos are ugly.
Have no idea who this person is, but sounds like a perv.
accusations? she wrote them down! by her own account she molested her siblings. what she wrote she did fits the definition of molestation.
I dont think she voted
I hope you are right - she thinks she is above reproach because she is a liberal -
[ her dad:
His eclectic style of painting has become best known for his merging of cartoonish and bimorphic figures in work that is emotionally complex and often sexually suggestive.

That pic behind him is creepy and borderline obscene
Those poor children. I just looked at a wide selection of the father’s paintings, and repugnant is far too mild a word. They’ve been described as ‘rude’ and ‘vulgar’, but ‘sick’ and ‘disturbed’ would be more accurate. No wonder his kids turned out so horribly. He paints women as a perverted misogynist would. Life in that family must have been weird and twisted at best.
[The paintings hung on the walls of the family home. Way to hyper-sexualize your kids, Carroll.]
So is she suggesting that if a child doesn't say they have been molested, or feel they have been, that no one should be prosecuted? Does she extend this to battered wives who don't press charges?
Nobody accused her of anything. The stupid tw#t wrote it in her book.
What would be funny is if she made it all up in order to be "in" with the progressive pervert crowd, not realizing that actual boundary lines exist in the real world.
Why do I believe that she’s going to start losing her audience. If this comes out and there might be others I do think that this will end up being the most spectacular fall from grace since Michael Jackson.
While this is displeasing to read about, I don’t consider a seven year old capable of making decisions regarding sexual improprieties. When children do this, it makes me wonder if they have been introduced to certain things by adults. Kids are naturally inquisitive, so that isn’t necessarily true.
Of course we live in an age when kindergartners are deemed “need to know” when it comes to homosexuality and other fun things. Did she get some instruction that caused her to be inquisitive? Oh, of course not...
As others over at the site said, she shouldn’t have opened her big yap about this. It’s not something to reveal to everyone. It was not the sort of thing kids should do, so why open up as if it’s something others should be okay with?
As for her college “rape”, I get really nervous when women talk of too much drinking and too much physical contact. If she was drinking it’s reasoned to think the male had been drinking too. So did she rape him too?
Was he saying things like, “Okay baby, if you don’t want to that’s okay?” Was she saying things like, “I really shouldn’t but I want to so bad?” What do some of these conversations go like? If there’s a dead set no, then I fault the guy. You have to honor her wishes.
I will tell you something ladies. I as a male have advised women not to do certain things because it would put them in a vulnerable position. Boy did I get a glare. Suggesting not to drink heavily on early dating makes some women angry. Suggesting they not be out alone with even a single friend until two in the morning, gets another glare. I realize they shouldn’t have to modify their actions to be safe, but reality is reality. Be careful. Some of us out here worry about you.
It seems men are the only ones who have to show restraint. The woman can engage in anything she wants including the initiation of intercourse, and then say no, stop! And if he doesn’t, he’s the bad one.
We live in an age of no personal responsibility whatsoever. Many women think all men are rapists.
Well, put five drinks in me and I might be gullible enough to buy into some things I wouldn’t otherwise. Afterwards could I say I was taken advantage of, I didn’t really want to? And even if she only had one drink, wouldn’t I still be the rapist.
As a matter of fact, yes.
Many women think men have it made. If being blamed for just about any negative out come in life is having it made, I can see why they would.
She thinks, “... but, but, but it’s not a crime when WE do it.”
She is one freaking sick person. I feel so sorry for her sister.
“taking pleasure in watching her beg.” She says that about her sister...
Sick pervert
