It can be bought on the Internet in flavors like chocolate and bubble gum—and just a teaspoon could kill a child: The New York Times takes a look at liquid nicotine, the e-liquid used in e-cigarettes, which it describes as a "powerful neurotoxin ... far more dangerous than tobacco." And with good reason: Reports of accidental liquid nicotine poisonings rose 300% from 2012 to 1,351 cases last year, with 2014's figure expected to be double that.
The victims, many children under the age of four, can experience vomiting and seizures after being exposed to even a modest amount orally or through the skin.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune notes that the bottles often convey their flavors with potentially enticing photos of fruits or chocolate, which could attract youngsters; teens, on the flip side, may be combining it with energy drinks to get high, per Fox News Insider.
"It's not a matter of if a child will be seriously poisoned or killed. It's a matter of when," says a director with California's Poison Control System.

Also typically cars that had one beverage holder for the driver’s position will now have two. One on the door and one by the dash. Putting a non combustible vessel in one of them should be a matter of simple consideration.

When the antis were trying to get the current laws on the ballot in AZ I got approached by one. They said they wanted to make AZ’s smoking law’s “sensible”, I said “oh you want to restore property rights and let the owner decide”, “well no”, “then you’re not aiming for sensible”. Of course in the end they won, so now we have our idiot laws, and they still complain. Really they should just fess up that they’re prohibitionists. That’s really what makes them so intolerable, the constant lies, they want people to not be able to smoke. I’d still oppose them if they were honest, but I could at least respect them, now they’re just deceitful scumbags.

Because of the proximity to the creeks and river, this mostly-rural county forbids the use of most chemical pesticides and slaps you with a fine almost no one can afford unless you use the biosafe stuff-the label of the biosafe yard spray insecticide-which is very effective, by the way-is a concentration of herbs-basil, rosemary, oregano and others-so high that you need gloves and a face mask to spray it to avoid chemical burns and other bad things. Will someone ban oregano, basil, etc from my garden next? What about cedar oil, which repels bugs indoors?

Went over this already, it wasn’t rude. If you didn’t think smoking should be in place X then you should take it up with the people in charge of place X, or don’t patronize it. There were plenty of places I didn’t go because they didn’t allow smoking, why was the reverse so impossible for non-smoker to do the reverse? The rudeness was in insisting EVERYBODY had to follow your rule. Polite people would learn to deal. Just by the nature of market forces more and more places were not allowing smoking (because more and more weren’t smoking), you were already getting your wish... well your STATED wish. The problem is the stated wish is a lie, you don’t want politeness, you don’t even want clean air, you want control. Congrats, you got it, you won, can’t smoke hardly anywhere in this country anymore. And yet you still bitch and moan. Bad sad winners, pathetic people really.
I assume your edict extends to all things that contain nicotine -- or is it just your hatred of smokers (in this case vapers) that you believe only things that emulate tobacco should be restricted?

Where did you get that they called poison control? That's not in the article. The CDC reports are usually collected from doctors. I assume that would be true of the California Poison Control too.

When I was in middle school we had an epidemic of snuff use. Every other pair of jeans would have that characteristic circle in the pants pocket where the snuff container was kept.
And then we had an epidemic of mouth cancer.

That Arizona ordinance doesn’t apply to private residences, so you are free to smoke in your backyard (or inside your home), no matter how close your neighbor’s door is.
A buddy of mine at work tried using e-cigs to quit chewing tobacco. I didn’t think it would work, but it DID!
