Calling poison control is not the same as being poisoned. Where are the victims? Are they still in the hospital? Dead and buried? Or are they playing video games like all of their friends. The only case of a child dying occurred in an orthodox area of Israel, and there was such scant reporting on it, combined with no actual cause of death, that the report is probably bogus (there were references to some other chemical she ingested, but I forget what chemical it was).

Where did you get that they called poison control? That's not in the article. The CDC reports are usually collected from doctors. I assume that would be true of the California Poison Control too.
