When the antis were trying to get the current laws on the ballot in AZ I got approached by one. They said they wanted to make AZ’s smoking law’s “sensible”, I said “oh you want to restore property rights and let the owner decide”, “well no”, “then you’re not aiming for sensible”. Of course in the end they won, so now we have our idiot laws, and they still complain. Really they should just fess up that they’re prohibitionists. That’s really what makes them so intolerable, the constant lies, they want people to not be able to smoke. I’d still oppose them if they were honest, but I could at least respect them, now they’re just deceitful scumbags.
I am of the same position. After we failed to kill the ban in Delaware I congratulated one of the opponents and invited him to join me for a drink when it went into effect, he thanked me for the invite and declined because he didn't go to bars.................
