We have some fishing gear. The grandparents used to take our kids fishing, but we really don’t have much around here where we live, except for privately owned and stocked ponds.

Good idea. I have a whole library of Ham Radio Magazines (at one time I got 4 publishers), NRA’s mags and a good personal library.

You can read print without power. But we also have a couple of AC generators. One big enough to run a house.

In the article they are mentioned under #16, self defense tools.
We have just about all those items in a fly away kit for tornados.

Bottles of Everclear ... can drink it, use it on wounds, and burn it in alcohol lamps that can cook stuff.

Molotov cocktails!

Kerosene with laundry detergent makes better cocktails, so I’m told.

I don’t know about such “terrorist” things, but I know I wouldn’t be tempted to drink that cocktail.

That ‘cocktail’ comes from WWII. The Brits fabricated it as an aid to the ‘resistence’ in Nazi occupied Europe.

I do have magazines and a lot of paperbooks just for that very reason. When you can’t access Kindle, paper and ink will still be available.
