TheBlaze/AP) Paula Broadwell first met fellow West Point graduate David Petraeus in the spring of 2006, when she was a graduate student at Harvards Kennedy School of Government.
He was a lieutenant general working on a counterinsurgency manual that would be tested during his command in Iraq. The university had invited him to give a speech.
Broadwell was in the Army Reserve after being recalled three times to active duty since the Sept. 11 attacks to work on counterterrorism issues and intended to return to active duty or get into the policy world, according to the preface of the Petraeus biography she would later write with a Washington Post editor.

General James Mattoon Scott: Where are you now that we need you?
I was in Saudi in 1990. King Khalid Airport. We were in a compound build for the third worlders. Swimming pool included.
Our “compound” became a R & R place for field folks.
We had a battery of Patriots there. One of the security staff was a female LT, who was very attractive.
One day she showed up in a yellow bikini. Her and 500 other guys hanging out at the pool.
4 months on the beach and that shows up ?

A little trivial info:

November 09, 2012 - Paula Broadwell, the big 40
Watch the dates. Her kids are 4 & 6.
If this bastard tries to take our guns, a military coup will be the least of his problems.
Sad to see two careers get trashed...She is married to a radiologist. They don't work cheap...
THIS is the reason odumbi picked him. He knew he could blackmail the General anytime he wanted too.
THE QUESTION IS WILL THE GENERAL FIGHT BACK?
If you read his Dear Abbie letter to the NYT from last year his is also a gurnoode (phonetic spelling, don’t know the Italian). Heard the term in the movie Goodfellas. It means he is a cuckold but content to be a jerk.
Last July 13th, Chuck Klosterman's Ethicist column responded to a very odd request for advice:
MY WIFES LOVERMy wife is having an affair with a government executive. His role is to manage a project whose progress is seen worldwide as a demonstration of American leadership. (This might seem hyperbolic, but it is not an exaggeration.) I have met with him on several occasions, and he has been gracious. (I doubt if he is aware of my knowledge.) I have watched the affair intensify over the last year, and I have also benefited from his generosity. He is engaged in work that I am passionate about and is absolutely the right person for the job. I strongly feel that exposing the affair will create a major distraction that would adversely impact the success of an important effort. My issue: Should I acknowledge this affair and finally force closure? Should I suffer in silence for the next year or two for a project I feel must succeed? Should I be true to my heart and walk away from the entire miserable situation and put the episode behind me? NAME WITHHELD
Perhaps July 13 is about the time her husband confronted her and forced her to end it, with an ultimately positive outcome for the household, which includes two young kids.
“THE QUESTION IS WILL THE GENERAL FIGHT BACK?”
Well he is refusing to testify, so I guess he won’t fight back, I’m thinking Obumer has more on him than just this.
I believe that was debunked by a tweet from Klosterman earlier today.
He said they did some fact checking and it turns out, the person who wrote that letter is NOT the husband.
I read the article at the link in the comments....
Woah!
this really changes things....
Considering their combined income, that’s pretty tame wheels.
(BMW 3 series and Nissan Pathfinder? I think?)
And being in Charlotte, it’s not like the house payment would be the killer numbers it would cost in NoVa.
Cornuto contento? LOL!
When we were kids, the "compares" used to visit one another. There was this man. He would never talk. He'd just sit there all night. They say to him, "What's the matter? Don't you say anything?" He says, "What am I going to say, that my wife two-times me? So she says, "Shut up! You're always talking!" But in Italian, it sounds much nicer. - Cornuto contento. - That's it. It means he's content to be a jerk. He doesn't care who knows it. Did Tommy tell you about my painting?
MY WIFES LOVER
Who is to say that the story was not planted by the CIA
There must be a video
He went running with the new people to get to know them? No, he went running with the new people to establish his superiority over them. “I can run faster than you, so I am better than you.” We had a lot of this in the Army. Cross country running is not a team sport. It is an individual sport. It brings glory to only the runner. Football is a team sport. The Offensive Tackle has an important and necessary part in every play. We have had cross country leadership in the Army for about 30 years. Think of the psychology of a guy who has to prove that he’s better than you by running. Not even by fighting you.....by running faster than you. You know what that proves? That he’s a better leader? That he’s a better Soldier? Nope. It only proves that he can run a mile faster than you. And when Al-Qaeda agrees to determine victory by a foot race, then, and only then, will running be so important.
