There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
The bad news is that it’s a fast-approaching train.
Indeed!
I don’t like riddles. What are you referring to?
Ugh. scott free = scot-free
I dont think I did but I cant really tell b/c its hard to understand what you’re really trying to say. There was no way to trace them, thats a FACT thats been established almost from the beginning. The ATF had no idea where the guns were going, who had them and the Mex govt wasn’t cooperating b/c they weren’t aware of the operation. Additionally, the ATF had almost no human resources in place to do the leg work. The only time the ATF would have access to weapons in Mex was by chance or when the Mex govt invited them to help. THe situation could have been for any number of reasons not just murders. So, basically, they were shut out of the loop running blind most of the time...that is if they even cared. The big news makers were almost always murders but there were other lower profile occasions like arrests and weapons confiscations that would have also given trace data. However, the ATF was mostly shut out of those show n tell situations b/c the Mex govt was clueless.
I will agree that our govt ran this covert operation to give Congress the cover to write draconian gun laws. That should give everyone pause whether you own a gun or not. If they would do this in one instance what would stop them from others like taking away your right to assemble peacefully or go to church or free speak or....
It’s in the article linked at the start of this thread

I saw it explained in the article. I was just adding my 2 cents, thank you.
“All those jokes about “Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms” being a convenience store,”
Reminds me of a little store on the outskirts of Sandusky. Their sign read;
“Ice Cream
—and—
Guns”
As a Nation, we are still paying for the Carter Administration. We have the Clinton Regime bill to settle after that. The obama “blessing” we probably won’t recover from.
Yes, well, stated goals and reality seem to differ dramatically in this situation. Its not even a credible lie and sadly the talking heads are going w/ it.
Thats an interesting idea! The news is telling us all of the guns were via straw purchases from licensed gun dealers. However, thats the govt version and their credibility isnt that good these days. Could it be they were running guns apart from dealers?? Hmmm, hadn’t thought of it that way and wouldn’t be at all surprised if the ATF had their own action going on. If true that would mean our govt was a direct supplier of arms to drug dealers who are in fact terrorists. Oh my...wouldn’t that be a bombshell!!
Maybe I was being too vague. Notice that the DOD, FBI, an CIA were missing from this list. My opinion is that he’s deliberately avoiding those agencies because he has the least control over them, and they pose the greatest threat to whatever agenda he’s trying to implement.
This thing is really disgusting.
Although, the ATF’s cited intention was to track the guns, instead, the feds lost track of the guns as they crossed the border to Mexico. At least one weapon was discovered near the scene of the murder of border control agent, Brian Terry.
I am not into relativism re this matter. Just because it was an inept attempt to create hysteria for gun control nutjobs, does not excuse making the BAFT into a CRIMINAL ORG.
there actions during Waco were questionable. Apparently they learned NOTHING from those investigations.
this is a LE that is capable of severely affecting Law biding citizens. The sheer fact that they were so willing to MANUFACTURE evidence should at least raise a pink flag for you.
“Could he have worn a wire?”
He seems to have figured out early on that he was the designated fall guy.
OH please I hope he was wired to the hilt, phones, house, person. AND office.
"Turned into?" Where have you been for the past 20 years or so? They shot a mother holding her baby, and incinerated children, over half an inch worth of shotgun barrel - how have they ever been anything other than a "criminal org?"
Also from the dailycaller article you quote:
"The U.S. Attorney in Arizona, Dennis Burke, is a political appointee of the Obama administration."And from the USDOJ website bio of Burke:
"Burke served as a Senior Adviser to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. He served as Chief of Staff to Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano from 2003 to 2008."- Fast And Furious run by US Att. Burke."... was the Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs at the United States Department of Justice, served as a Senior Policy Analyst for the White House Domestic Policy Council during the Clinton Administration and as a Majority Counsel for the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, where he worked on three Supreme Court nominations, intellectual property as well as crime and law enforcement legislation"
Try claiming this doesn't lead to the highest levels in Washington!
Dennis Burke is the smoking gun!
See #85.
FBI’s on the list now - they were involved in F&F.
I think that the DOD under Gates advanced his agenda in a big way and the FBI has been pushing for Islamicization. Oddly enough, the CIA, which I would have expected to be among the worst, hasn’t taken any dramatic steps in advancing Obama’s agenda that I am aware of, despite Leon Panetta’s own Communist fellow-traveller background (see http://www.trevorloudon.com).
