Yeah and lets repopulate all 48 lower states with mountain lions and rapid wolverines, also.
I like that idea, in fact, given what mountain lions do to wolves out in the mountain area (Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming) that would pretty much be the perfect way to make the environmentalists tick, using none other than nature itself, of course.
There was a reason they were got rid of.
The average well-trained cross-country skier can do an average of 35 MPH. Information on the net suggests wolves can "cruise" at about 35, and maybe have bursts of speed a bit higher than that.
The human advantage comes when you are going downhill at 65 MPH. The wolves just can't do it.
That, BTW, gives humans an advantage even over reindeer.
The wolves lost habitat and game to human beings. They were gotten rid of by starvation.

While there was already a black bear population in the state, they brought in additional animals and put them in Kingdom Come State Park, resulting in several close encounters over the past several years.
The Gov. can stock all the wolves they want in Pa. None of them will live past three months.
We already have wolves in Vermont coming down from Canada. They harry livestock, and kill them, and they also decimate the deer population.It wont matter much what the suit does or makes the government do.In Vermont the farmers will shoot the wolves they find and put them in lime pits, all on the QT.

While we are at it, why not bring in a few hundred thousand head hunters from Borneo. I just love the romantic notions these liberal ash hats have of the pristijne, restored envirinment, packs of wolves and coyotes stalking men and women,neighborhood pets, as well as the noble savage! And then they want us all to give up the right to bear arms and go back to spear chucking? What a bunch of Utopian rubes! All their women should have their Utopian Fallopian tubes tied. That makes more sense,may they all come to a genetic dead end with Darwin Awards.
The restrictions on hunting are also a problem. I think there should be a no license required 6 month open season on envirowackos.
The population is grown to the point where they endanger society and since it is composed mostly of non reproducing females, is a drag on society.

There's already Coyotes running loose in DOWNTOWN Chicago (along the lake-front in Grant Park & Millennium Park). Which create havoc for the Cops when those calls come in of one being spotted, like yesterday afternoon.
Now add WOLVES to the equation. Which on occasion have been known to EAT little kids and babies, which would be just perfect when the parks and beaches are packed from spring to early fall. And Coyotes are now common where I'm at, about 25 miles SW (as the crow flies) of downtown Chicago.
If I see or hear of a wolf around me then screw any laws, I'm packing my 9mm when I go out after sundown with the dog(1). My area is perfect for wolf habitat - a LOT of Woods, water and Geese to feed on (We're 'Tree City USA', like five years in a row).
(1) And that just may make my purchase of a .45 move up on my 'need to buy list'.

I just don’t understand these measures. When the first person(s) get killed, I hope one of the brain trusts that came up with this is executed. Of course, never happen...
