Environmentalists said Tuesday they intend to sue the Obama administration to force it to restore gray wolves across the lower 48 states — even as Republicans in Congress sought unsuccessfully to strip the animals of protection.

The Center for Biological Diversity said in a formal notice to the Interior Department that it will sue the agency in 60 days unless the government crafts a plan to bring back wolves ...

The idiots that want them reintroduced are not the people that have to live with them, by a huge percentage. SSS.

You're right. They come to our rural areas and take pictures like they are National Geographic photographers then go home to their big Liberal cities, leaving us locals to deal with dangerous wildlife on a day-to-day basis.

Since Alaska is the only state where wolf hunting is legal, this is, without doubt in my mind, aimed almost, but not quite, solely at Sarah Palin.

If I can be a teensy bit contrarian...

Deer are a menace and cause many deaths and destruction of property every year. Reintroducing wolves would help to keep the deer population down. Yes, we might lose a few family pets and small children, but that is small price to pay to keep everything "natural". :-)

There are very few animals on the entire planet that CANNOT COEXIST with man. The gray wolf is one of them.

The treehuggers know this. Again, they've managed to take self-loathing to new heights.

SSS!

What you need to do is hit them with a traq dart, load them up and turn them loose in the yard of some of these creeps. Let them find out first hand what a pack of these guys can do to both human and animal.

The closest an eco-fascist ever gets to a wolf is seeing a picture of Hitler in his bunker.

Most so-called environmentalists I’ve met are skinny, little runts who would go on a canned hike in Yellowstone for a day and imagine themselves Daniel Boone.

When I lived in the CA backcountry, I’d head out in my morning rounds and my eco-fascist neighbors would freak out seeing me carrying the 12 gauge and a buntline on my hip.

They were like mice: “Eek! You can’t do that.” I’d have to lay my shotgun against a tree to approach them so they wouldn’t die from a heart attack. (I used to be a considerate guy.)

One time my neighbor was clearing brush with his bulldozer and I was tracking a feral dog pack. I walked into a clearing where he was stealing Louisianna- Pacific trees and he just shit on the spot. He aimed the dozer at me and screamed: “You can’t be walking around like that!!”

So I had to lay my shotgun against a tree and explain to the idiot that I was tracking.

The eco-fascist worm-head had no idea what I was talking about. Laying my shotgun down was a help, but the buntline in my holster pretty near caused him a stroke and killed him. He was near catatonic death when I walked away.

The moral of the story is that eco-fascists have no idea what the environment is about and if the environment gob-smacked them in their big fat fascist puss they’d have no idea what hit them.

F ‘em all. Damn girly-boys.

Yeh I’m kind of on board with that. In GA we now have the Coyotes and its unpleasant enough. A lot of them are ferrals that have crossed with dogs so no fear of humans. They come running down the street at your dog as you try to walk it. Thats always an adrenaline rush. Just what we need is a 200 Lb Gray Wolf loping down the street chasing Muffy.

A coyote ran through our yard earlier today. Unfortunately my rifle wasn't loaded. Now it is.

Wolves are just dogs ~ big dogs ~ but still dogs, and that means meat in the right hands. What you need is a traditional Korean restaurant in the area.

End of that problem.
