Environmentalists said Tuesday they intend to sue the Obama administration to force it to restore gray wolves across the lower 48 states — even as Republicans in Congress sought unsuccessfully to strip the animals of protection.

When this is finally settled in a sane manner and hunting seasons are approved for wolves the states should also open a limited season on members of The Center for Biological Diversity. I don’t mean do harm to them, just trap them and put them in zoos where they belong.

....actually the lions are re-populating themselves east of the Mississippi...one was shot in S.W.Georgia last year by a deer hunter....likewise, one this year in Indiana...as the nation’s deer poplation grows, here come the lions.

You don't need a tag for those varmints. They are like coyotes or any other pest. Not even worth mentioning. S S S I live and work in an area that has a large population of mountain lions. I watched one today try to ambush a deer. He missed but he didn't have a pack of other cats behind him to finish the job. Oh well. It is all part of nature but the wolves they are bringing in are not even the proper species. Bring them in and the locals will take care of them. If you want to live with them then put them in your back yard but stay the hell out of mine!!!!!

Completely agree. Wolves were for all practical purposes eliminated from the lower 48 and it should have remained that way. The idiots that want them reintroduced are not the people that have to live with them, by a huge percentage. SSS
