Piece by piece, America being given away
Its too late; itll just have to be stopped in the Senate, Tom, the young male answering the phone in U.S. Rep. John Boehners (R-Ohio)Washington D.C. office, said about HR 3534 (CLEAR Act). This is the globalist bill designed to give away our land, oceans, adjacent land masses and Great Lakes to an international body, and makes us pay $900 million per year until 2040.
HR 3534 is a thinly disguised permanent roadblock to American energy which drives American companies out of the Gulf, delays future drilling, increases dependency on foreign oil, implements climate change legislation and youth education programs; but most important, it mandates membership in the Law of the Sea Treaty without the required two-thirds vote to ratify it in the U.S. Senate.
The House passed the CLEAR Act (HR 3534) 209-193, July 30, 2010. This bill was originally introduced July 8, 2009, but was resurrected by the recent Deep Water Horizon oil spill crisis. According to www.govtrack.us, a debate may be taking place on a companion bill in the Senate, rather than on this particular bill. This bill was read for the second time Aug. 4, 2010, and placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar under General Orders, Calendar No. 510. No official Senate Bill number exists as of yet.

I like trains. If trains were not run by the government and therefore made sense, many more people would ride them. Plus goods would freighted on them more than they are. Trucks aren’t any faster than trains.
Many old tracks were ripped up. Train service used to go to many towns it no longer does.
Trains are sensible.
The C in Clear Act stands for consolidated. There are a number separate and unrelated issues that have been consolidated into this legislation, just for legislative convenience.
One particular part is found in the last line of the first paragraph. "$900 million per year until 2040"
This is the Land and Water Conservation Fund that was conceived of by Eisenhower and enacted in 1965. The money comes from OCS Royalties. $900 million per year with the 50 states getting half and the other half split by all the land agencies(BLM, Forest Service, Park Service, etc).
You may recall CARA from back in 2000 when Congress tried to to take the LWCF off budget. That is what this is, they are wanting to take it off budget so they don't have to appropriate it every year.
Another part of the CLEAR Act is reinstating that water quality reg that was overturned by the court because it contained the word navigable. That reg was in place for a long time prior.
You have to look at each unrelated part(s) of the consolidated bill.
This has nothing to do with LOST.
And since when do GOP senators successfully filibuster?
“This bill was originally introduced July 8, 2009, but was resurrected by the recent Deep Water Horizon oil spill crisis.”
Reichstags roasting on an open fire...
We are still under attack and we have been for some time. The worst is yet to come as they are slowly thrown out of office. They will go balls to the wall in Nov. and December. Lets hope our rinos don’t cave. They could really hurt the country.
When I read stuff like this, it’s difficult to escape the ‘concern’ that Democrats in power are simply a threat to our sovereignty, liberty, and general welfare.
True. I have lived there and currently have two businesses there. The largest singular problem is they still operate at the tribal level with a chief by day and a chief by night. Both are feudal kingdoms with no room for anyone taking their power away. This is a contributing factor as to why they have never had civilization there. Sure there are people who would argue that Egyptians were African, or there was a “great Zimbabwe”. The closest things they had were trading cultures based on gold or muslim slave trade. One of the key ingredients to civilization was organized farming....cuzz from that you could calculate surpluses and....ooops, taxes for public goods.
The tribal chiefs? Will never allow democracy as it supersedes them.
Progress? The whiteman holds us down. Blame the whiteman
Blame colonialism. Fact of the matter is some of the most successful places started as colonies. It depends on what the people do. Look at the US, Canada, Australia in the west. In africa? As you say- Rhodesia, South Africa, Kenya.... are as you indicate, are rotting and regressing. A lil R&R!
Thanks. I knew the LOST Treaty was out there, but this seems different. I don’t think the LOST Treaty actually addressed coasts, but I may be wrong on that.
Thanks for the explanation Ben. It had seemed different in that it addressed coasts, something I don’t believe the LOST Treaty did. How do you follow this stuff so closely?
I try to keep up, but you’ve done a much better job than I have.
This involves our Great Lakes!!!
Hmmm,
Ministry of Plenty or Ministry of Peace bookmark?
Both, I think.
Eggsactly!
Some seem to forget about the citizens who demand largess with their vote. These politicians are only doing what they’ve been sent to do, Loot and Pillage the treasury of the United States.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
“Slipped under the radar hell. We work for a living. How could we possibly keep up....” You hit that one right on the head.
This has been quietly happening for years, Ron.
It's just part of the 'Globalist' agenda that was started by GHW Bush.
I don't like it either, pal, and I'm happy that the 'Tea-Party' has sprung into being.
I think it was Nixon that alluded to the 'Silent-Majority'.
Well, May GOD Bless the USA! They're speaking now, and it's a good thing.
Hey, bud, I just didn't want it to get too wierd for me ...
Stay well - this will get interesting ................... FRegards
