Takes you right to the poll.
Let the Freep Begin!
Tell these losers that these colors don’t run!
They need to ban the alliegance oath, not the flag.
Did you vote in the poll?
I never thought that it’d ever come to this.
Is the planet doomed?
Anyway, this Dutchman voted ‘no’, of course.
No further comment.
(operative word: self-evident)
Of course.
indeed.
Please spread the word to friends and family
The number of idiots voting to ban the flag is absolutely jaw-dropping. The nation is clearly and irretrievably doomed.
I will. Let’s kick some ass...
...which is exactly my impression. It’s shocking.
I am told that the SEIU and company are slaming it.
Although, I have no proof of that.
No. This is a lame decision. Teach the kids what the flag means, instead of banning it. 34% (386,104 votes)
Yes. The safety of students comes first. 52% (588,940 votes)
Not sure, but of all things to ban, the American flag would seem the least ‘incendiary.’ <1% (2,514 votes)
Other (post a comment) 14% (164,661 votes)
Total Votes: 1,142,219
The poll is obviously slanted by the phrasing of the options.
The option, “Yes, the safety of the children comes first”, could also be used for a negative answer more consistently.
The assumption implicit with the anti-flag group is that security comes from outward force and laws upon our behavior, similar to Sharia law, instead of law from a Judeo-Christian perspective as being instilled from the inside out.
Such an outward in perspective views anything which might be offensive to anybody should be removed by outward force.
The same perspective is hypocritical because it assumes people base their actions upon inward formed thinking processes, from which they could be offended in the first place.
The schools should be teaching this distinction and the history of American legal system from other nations beginning with the 1500s through the 1800s, rather than post 20th century living document crap.
Geez—how sad!
Absolutely, nonetheless lets bury this smelly creature and put it to rest.
Good call, sound reasoning. I’ll return in a couple of hours and read it again.
Why?
--"Are you ****ing kidding me? Are you out of your mind? You should be fired from Fox News for even posting this idiotic poll."
That's the one I would have checked.
