Just as the healthcare drama in the capitol reaches a grand finale, congressional officials are warning employees to avoid the DRUDGE REPORT!
The Senate's Committee on Environment and Public Works issued an urgent email late Monday claiming the DRUDGE REPORT is 'responsible for the many viruses popping up throughout the Senate.'
The committee ordered hill staff: 'Try to avoid' the DRUDGE REPORT 'for now'.
On Monday DRUDGE served over 29 million pages with NOT ONE email complaint received about 'pop ups', or the site serving 'viruses'.
The site was seen 149,967 times since March 1st from users at senate.gov and 244,347 times at house.gov. [10,825 visits from the White House, eop.gov]
The Systems Administrator may want to continue taking her antibiotic until the prescription runs out.

Been utilizing MS products for years without problem. More often than not any product problems can be traced to the individual in front of the monitor.
I blame the ‘Congressional Gym showers’ for those ‘viruses’. ;-)
Personally, I haven’t gone to the site in over 10 years..all sorts of weird stuff would happen to the desktop afterwards.
There are about 60 viruses in the Senate right now. They are called Senators.
They are ridiculous...I have NEVER seen nor detected a virus at Drudge...I visit the site every day and have since he first started and I have NEVER had a problem.
These communists in our government just love to try to control the message to the point of cover up and lying.

I got a virus yesterday while I was watching Glen Beck on TV. I took some NyQuil before I went to bed and I felt better this morning.

Me too. I frequented the CNN chatrooms in the 90s, where I heard about the Drudge Report and Free Republic. When AOL took over CNN, their IRC chatrooms disappeared.... but Drudge and FR live on!
Right thinking vill be rewarded — and wrong thinking vill be punished.
You do know that the "warning" wasn't really about computer viruses, don't you?
