If healthcare passes the socialist coup d'etat has advanced beyond the point of no return!
Dec 19, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Let's face it FRiends, if the unconstitutional healthcare bill passes, the socialist coup d'etat will have advanced well beyond the point of no return!

There is nothing in the constitution that authorizes this illegal federal power-grab and plenty that forbids it. If the Obama/Reid/Pelosi Marxist attempted coup pulls this off without the people resisting to the hilt, then they'll have no restrictions whatsoever on implementing the rest of their Liberty killing Marxist agenda. America will be no more.

The whole idea of our constitution is to severely restrict the federal government to only its dozen and a half expressly listed enumerated powers and to guarantee and protect our unalienable individual rights as well as our sovereign states rights and republican form of government.

The constitution has not failed, the people have. When the government will not willingly restrain itself within its legal bounds, then its the duty of the people to enforce the constitution and restrain the government.

The constitution does not define our rights, it defines the limits on government. Our rights are granted by God not government, and government cannot take them away. Our government was established by and for us and was granted by us certain limited powers and only those limited powers. Our government serves at our pleasure to defend our nation and our rights. It does not RULE over us.

Obama is not a dictator. Reid, Pelosi, et al, are not our rulers. When they overstep their bounds to the degree they have, then they MUST be brought back down to reality.

It's time to jerk their constitutional chains taut!

It's time for US to enforce our Constitution and invoke our Bill of Rights!!

It's time to assemble for duty, for Liberty!!

Ammo and reloading-component sales are through the roof. The marxists aren't worried in the least.

I know, I see the talk here every day. My point is that doubling the going-through-the-roof rate would *now* start to make the marxists take note after this healthcare bill milestone.

Just a thought. YMMV.

The socialist coup d’etat was in November 1932. We have been fighting a rearguard action ever since.

Go to The Obama File by our own FReeper, Beckwith.

Could I suggest that we follow the example of the “Monday Demonstrations” that broke the USSR?

How about our own version, truly grass roots: those with churches, show up at our own church at a given time each and every week.

Alternatively - and this might work for all of those who can’t make it to a church because they’re out of town or work too far from the building we all turn out in front of City Hall, where ever we are.

And, while we’re at it, we ought to make an effort to make our presence known at our own City Hall every single time the Council meets. Even if there’s no given subject we want to speak on, we can make them truly “Town Hall.”

This is not a drill, FRiends. Repeat, this is not a drill.

We need a place to draw up a battle plan where our ideas will not be overheard by the liberals.

Maybe we should surround the Capitol building?

Reid’s gifts to his congressional holdouts are disgraceful. He is the lowest of slime for bribing those who SHOULD WORK FOR US!

so I think we should approach this as people who have nothing to lose.

So then we dare not condemn anyone who takes drastic measures no matter how distasteful.

Cap ‘n Tax is dead and the “healthcare” bill has been stripped of its most Marxist features

Which will be put back in conference. After that it only takes 50 votes in the Senate. Piece of cake.

As to the former, it will be implemented, mostly at least, by executive fiat.

Why couldn’t we commemorate the hour they pass this debacle? If it’s Christmas Eve that they vote in the Senate, then we should begin with a vigil at City Hall that night.

How many of us have phones or laptops with the ability to follow the vote remotely?

You don’t have to do anything. No one is making you. You can just go quitely and docilly and let them kill you. It won’t happen today. It won’t happen tomorrow. It may be five or six years down the road.

Bumping your suggestion.....

The HEIGHT of insult to we Americans would be to vote on it the evening that we are in Church, celebrating Christ’s birth.

Time to call up the militia.

The ultimate authority resides in the people, and that if the federal government go too powerful and overstepped its authority, then the people would develop plans of resistance and resort to arms.--James Madison

“Which will be put back in conference. After that it only takes 50 votes in the Senate.”

I believe it will still require 60 votes to pass the Senate on the final vote. This is why Nelson is still dictating that his yes vote is “conditional” on there being only minimal changes in conference.

That is unless they go “reconciliation” which would cause big pieces of the bill dear to Democrats to be dumped and take month from what I hear.

I would love to see the turn out at churches everywhere. We should make the turn out after September 11, 2001 look like a small demonstration!

However, for those who don’t feel moved to go to church (some Christian denominations are resistant to Christmas celebrations, for instance), *then* consider gathering the nearest city hall.

We leave no one out, no divisions. We must show that we are “United” in our purpose.
