One of the biggest unreported scandals is the amount of anonymous foreign money that poured into Obama’s campaign coffers during the election.
They saw that nobody was monitoring it, nobody was interested in monitoring it, and there were no consequences for taking it.
That is one of the reasons I fear for the future of our country. We are a nation of laws, a constitutional republic. One party still thinks it has to somewhat live by those guidelines, and one party has decided to do whatever they want to do because there are no ramifications.
The analogy is Jane Fonda going to North Vietnam. She was never prosecuted for treason, and everyone with an inclination saw that nobody would be prosecuted again unless they were selling military secrets to our enemies.
And even then.
