Why tea party patriots should support Sarah Palin should she decide to run
11/28/2009 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/28/2009 12:28:57 PM PST by Jim Robinson

She's a God, Country, Family, small government, no nonsense traditional Christian conservative. She's an outsider not corrupted by business as usual Washington politics. They hate her. She's pro defense. An army mom. She's pro-gun. Hunts, fishes and enjoys the great outdoors. She eats corrupt office holders and wasteful spenders for lunch. She drills for oil. She's a fighter. A winner!

She's the exact opposite to Obama in all respects. She's an American patriot!

In short, she's exactly what we the grassroots tea party patriots are looking for.

The more the American people see her through an unfiltered lens the more they like her, and the more they see those who are attacking her more clearly as well.

She is honest. That scares her enemies as much as it thrills those who support her.

It was Rick Santelli of MSNBC who sparked the Tea Party groups.

and don’t lump Sarah Palin in with Ron Paul

Sarah Palin supports the war against the IslamOfascists who declared war on America.

Ron Paul is anti war and supports the closing of Gitmo and supports the trials of the Terrorists in New York.
Ron Paul is the Democrats best friend.

That says it all. She’s exactly what we need.

We should feel grateful that someone like Palin is even in the realm of possibilities.

I just heard that Ron Paul was a big part in starting the Tea Party movement?

No, I heard Romney's wives were instrumental in that effort.

All eleven of them. Even the underage ones.

I have not followed much of what Ron Paul does accept that much was spoken that many members flock over to the Tea Party.

Re: the bailout and amnesty during last year’s campaign, I think we saw a natural chief executive doing her best to be a team player and trying to make that team a respectable, more conservative winner. But whenever she had to sort of a little support something she really wasn’t fully behind, she had the integrity to add a qualifier such that you could see she saw the greater principle that she also wanted to acknowledge.

She might get squishy on federal-level spending for the handicapped or education (and absolutely every even tiny-government pol has his or her hobby horse!), but I don’t think government bailouts or illegal immigration or global warming are likely areas where she strays from true conservative orthodoxy at all.

I've been thinking a lot on Sarah Palin and 2012. Would I like her to lead our nation...hell yes, but

There is always a but(t).

WE have a lot of work to do to get our country back. We are approaching the less than 3 year mark to turn the people around, derail the socialist train as it heads into Winston tunnel. It is going to take a lot more than electing Sarah Palin to get that job done.

We need to help our fellow citizens to see this is more than left/right and a bunch of talking points.

The is a shining light on a hill, a distant shore, a beam of light on a foggy night...we've got to lift the bushel basket and let it shine.

PS. WE, as conservatives, have to meet her halfway.

Are you looking for an engraved invitation or a by name explanation?

Or just an excuse to not support her?

Of all the issues to constipate over, this shouldn’t be it.

Sarah is tops in my opinion too!

It remains to be seen if she decides to run. I sure hope she does run for President, but know if she doesn't she will be very effective in helping to elect other real conservative candidates.

My dream ticket of all dream tickets for 2012 would be a winner for sure! Sarah Palin & Col.Allen West

“I was just reading another thread where some posters are calling for a purge of those who don't agree with them, and they are calling for a third party.”

Please direct me to that thread. I missed it. Those who a pushing for a third party need to realize it would be a bad move for conservatives and would only help the left win! We real conservatives can take back the Republican party and pick off the RINO’s one by one. Right now Republican control of Congress needs to be our goal. We need to work to elect conservative candidates to the House and Senate where ever we can. Then as RINO seats come up, we replace them one by one. We can do it and the GOP knows it! Just remember what happened in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia.

Now if the election coming up in Massachusetts
in January sets up Scott Brown for the Senate race to fill Kennedy's old seat, it sure would be something to see a conservative go to the Senate from MA!! A long shot I know, but we need to support Scott Brown!

Third Parties receive an ave. of 3% of the vote if that.
They are the Democrats best friend.

One reason loony left wing Al Franken is Senator and helping
push through big spending and health care.
