UNREAL. Obama May Allow US Soldiers to be Tried in the Hague

Unreal. Team Obama may allow US soldiers to be tried in the Hague for war crimes. The Wall Street Journal reported, via Jihad Watch:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed “great regret” in August that the U.S. is not a signatory to the International Criminal Court (ICC). This has fueled speculation that the Obama administration may reverse another Bush policy and sign up for what could lead to the trial of Americans for war crimes in The Hague.

The ICC’s chief prosecutor, though, has no intention of waiting for Washington to submit to the court’s authority. Luis Moreno Ocampo says he already has jurisdiction—at least with respect to Afghanistan.

Because Kabul in 2003 ratified the Rome Statute—the ICC’s founding treaty—all soldiers on Afghan territory, even those from nontreaty countries, fall under the ICC’s oversight, Mr. Ocampo told me. And the chief prosecutor says he is already conducting a “preliminary examination” into whether NATO troops, including American soldiers, fighting the Taliban may have to be put in the dock.

“We have to check if crimes against humanity, war crimes or genocide have been committed in Afghanistan,” Mr. Ocampo told me. “There are serious allegations against the Taliban and al Qaeda and serious allegations about warlords, even against some who are connected with members of the government.” Taking up his inquiry of Allied soldiers, he added, “there are different reports about problems with bombings and there are also allegations about torture.”

It was clear who the targets of these particular inquiries are but the chief prosecutor shied away from spelling it out.

Asked repeatedly whether the examination of bombings and torture allegations refers to NATO and U.S. soldiers, Mr. Ocampo finally stated that “we are investigating whoever commits war crimes, including the group you mentioned.”

Something has got to give somewhere. Otherwise, we will be discussing “This can’t be happening” behind electified barbwire fences like the Jews in Germany. We are fast approaching the “we don’t have nothing to lose point”. The problem is that very, very few on our side wish to face it.

As I’ve found over the years, in the military and now working for a city police department....Leadership starts at the bottom.

Especially in a crisis.

In his book, “Dreams of My Father”, Obama makes repeated mention of a guy FRANK who frequented the house of Obama’s grandparents in Hawaii.

When people look into this **Frank Marshall Davis** really is and the mission he was on, then people will gain a much firmer grasp on what the US is probably in for:

1. He was a very committed black Marxist from Chicago
2. He was a pornographer who pursued alternative sexual tastes
3. He might have been sent to Hawaii on a mission from the CPUSA
4. He might have been Obama’s actual father

?

?

If US soldiers can be tried in the Hague, why would the commander in chief not be subject to the same court?

Have you missed the accusations that drones firing on houses in countries we are not at war with is a war crime?

??

This is pure BS. Obama should be tried for all his lies to the American people first...if he’s found guilty by a jury of anyone but Nobel Peace voters he’s be danged guilty.

I still think that Barbara Boxer’s words on the day of Obama’s inauguration hinted at this exact scenario — even though it played well to others around the world... She stated that the world was witnessing a “Peaceful Change of Power”... And, at the time I said, since when have our inaugurations and such NOT been peaceful. I honestly think she was hinting that it would NOT be the next time, and she might be completely correct on that.

My interpretation is even worse. Really the inaguration is not normally a "change of power". In the USA all power ultimately lies with the people. All we do with our elections is change who we have temporarily chosen to turn over the administrative branch of our government too.

What Pelosi was saying is that a true "change of power" had taken place. Like the other Soros "color and flower revolutions" the existing order had been replace with a new order. No longer would the USA be run by redneck citizens with their antiquated Constitution and their pathetic clinging to their primitive Christianity and (OMG!) guns.

No! This election was different. Power has been transferred to the "Vanguard of the Proletariat". The electoral coup d'etat that has been in the works for generations has finally occurred. We have taken the POWER and won't be giving it back, EVER.

I suspect this is what she thought and meant with her comments.
