Well, he didn't have to renounce his Kenyan citizenship - that lapsed when he became an adult and didn't renounce his U.S. citizenship. And any Indonesian citizenship claims may be incorrect since according to Indonesian law in effect at the time it's unlikely Obama could have become a citizen if he was, in fact, adopted by Soetoro. But even if he did gain Indonesian citizenship that does not negate his U.S. citizenship.
