Rationing: In the recesses of the House health care "reform" bill is a provision for end-of-life counseling for seniors. Don't worry, granny, they're from the government and they're here to help.
At first, the president joked that not enough government workers existed to ask the elderly how they wanted to die. The idea, he said, was to encourage the use of living wills and that critics were misrepresenting the intent of the "end of life" counseling provided for in the House bill. He did not say, "No, they wouldn't be contacted."
This administration, pledging to cut medical costs and for which "cost-effectiveness" is a new mantra, knows that a quarter of Medicare spending is made in a patient's final year of life. Certainly the British were aware when they nationalized their medical system.
The controlling of medical costs in countries such as Britain through rationing, and the health consequences thereof are legendary. The stories of people dying on a waiting list or being denied altogether read like a horror movie script.
The U.K.'s National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) basically figures out who deserves treatment by using a cost-utility analysis based on the "quality adjusted life year."

PGs 525-620 deals with the Govt basically taking over nursing homes,long-term care facilities (think assisted living) through regulations of the facilities, the owners of sd facilities, the employees of sd facilities and even the land owners of that sd facilities reside on. Additionally as you read these 90+ pages you can come to the conclusion that any Health related svcs will be determined and rationed by the Govt for our senior citizens and others in nursing homes. This one post should do enough to raise awareness of the control the Govt is exerting over the older population of American citizens.

The reality is that Social Security and Medicare are both Ponzi schemes that are going to go broke as baby boomers retire and become elderly.
Baraqqicare will only make this worse.
But no baby boomer (unless quite wealthy like a typical US Senator) should expect world class medical care as they become elderly. This country is broke and can’t afford it. Our grandchildren are already overburdened with debt we have borrowed.

Oh my dear God - this makes me just want to cry.
You know what’s really sick about this, is that the marxist party relys heavily on the seasoned citizen vote, then they come up with this crap where they are going to be told to go home to die. The democrat party has been hijacked by people who are obsessed with death. Might as well use the skull symbol of the german SS. Makes about enough sense.

I think they want to eliminate the older folks, the ones who most vividly remember the real America (the one I love), as quickly as possible, the more easily to destroy our heritage.
I wonder how many old people will be ramming their cars into federal buildings.
Is he so hardened a Marxist that he has no empathy any more. I wonder in what style his grandparents went, was it like good stoic Marxists that throw themselves under the bus? I ask since Marxism does not care about natural family, it is happy to break natural family down and build state pseudofamily up.

The United States made history yesterday in electing the first African-American, Barack Obama, to the presidency. Based upon the mythology of the Baby Boomer generation -- the generation that grew up during the Civil Rights era and reshaped cultural history -- one might have expected Boomers to lead the way in voting for "change."
But they didn't. CNN exit polls showed that Boomers split their votes evenly between Obama and John McCain: 50 percent to 49 percent. The GenY (Millennial) generation voted most lopsidedly for Obama, by a two to one margin, while GenX favored him by a smaller margin. The Silent Generation was the only age cohort that went for McCain, who is, after all, one of them.
I stand,... er sit corrrected. That said, 1 point is not alot and they are at the head of the line concerning Obama Deathcare.

Why would anyone be surprised at anything people would say when they literally have a gun pointed at their heads, and the heads of their entire family?
That's one reason they're crushing the older, heavier cars.
