Major Cook has been fired from his civilian defense contractor job. See details at link.
OK comments are nice but what can we Actively do for him? Calls, info to newspapers, radio station, he took a stand now it appears like he needs some friendly back up.
Any thoughts???
0 doesn't "underestimate" the anger; he doesn't care about the anger, believing it to be irrelevant.
Brave, courageous military man fired because B. Hussein Obama is NOT eligible to serve as President since he’s not a natural born American citizen (he hasn’t proven it to me anyway).

I haven't heard of such a thing, but assuming arguendo that that there is, what makes Cook not deployable? I don't believe he has said that he wouldn't obey a legal deployment order. He is only questioning the legality of the order that he did receive.
ML/NJ
and I hope he gets the support he and his fqmily will need thru this.
Sue H yes.. get zero into court to UNDER oath admitt he in not a natural born citizen, that is the only thing that will stop this.
One thing for sure is people are noticing they have no jobs and no money.
Search the main page for "SWIFT AND BRUTAL" or, read post #59
Time to shed light on this whole mess.
We are allowing ourselves to be controlled by a police state.
We are being intimidated in the same way the the Soviets intimidated citizens ...we can take what you have and we have made examples of those who make waves.
You are being threatened by loss of job, tax actions, smear campaigns, trumped up charges you that could wreck your life. We, the government, can take things away from you and make your life miserable ...legally. Do you want to make waves?
DoD could have jerked Major Cook’s base access because they are not “comfortable” with him. He works at someone’s pleasure and someone will comply with getting rid of the Major because they don’t want to be next to feel the wrath of Zero.
That would certainly put this in a different light.
This was posted and puts an entirely different light on the situation.
As I read it he didn’t refuse the order to deploy, he filed suit to find out if it was a lawful order.
DOD’s response was to cancel his military deployment and to inform his employer that he was no longer welcome at his civilian job at McDill Air Force base, effectively firing him.
I’m stealing that.
They may not have much choice in the matter. An employee of a defense contractor who is involved in this kind of thing may automatically qualify as a “security risk” for a whole host of reasons.
And it isn't just questioning the validity of the Pres that will get you fired. My hubby lost his Federal job on an AF base because his dem-o-rat superior (and I use that term loosely) lied about him. It seems once the superior (ack) found out my hubby was conservative, he took projects away from him, etc. Besides making rude, unwelcome comments about being conservative or whom he listened to on the radio. Long story short...he was close to finishing his probation, and was fired. No reason. It's in a lawsuit now, so I can't say much. But I know when all is said & done...he'll post a story here. It'll be of interest to Freepers. I think we'll see lots of conservatives lose their jobs if zero gets his way.
Here comes the lawsuit and the loser will be Cook’s employer.
He didn’t refuse to do his job. Read more closely.
Good point. Even if you’re not at the customer’s facility, they have wide latitude as to who works on their contracts. If you work for a company that has no commercial work, only DOD, you’re pretty much hosed. If your clearance is pulled, you are extra hosed.
“if it was a lawful order”
Since his objection to following the order is that President Zero is not authorized to give it, and he just lost his job due to failure to follow an order (not crass political retaliation) I don’t know how any self-respecting judge can rule that he doesn’t have standing to sue and seek discovery to establish his defense.
Oh, “self-respecting”: sorry, for a second I forgot about liberal, political-hack judges.
Never mind.
