Dinosaur herd buried in Noah’s Flood in Inner Mongolia, China

by Tas Walker Published: 14 April 2009

An international team of scientists have uncovered graphic evidence of the deadly terror unleashed on a herd of dinosaurs as they were buried under sediment by the rising waters of Noah’s Flood in western Inner Mongolia (figure 1).[1]

Dinosaur bones were first discovered at the site, located at the base of a small hill in the Gobi Desert, in 1978 by a Chinese geologist. After about 20 years, a team of Chinese and Japanese scientists recovered the first skeletons, which they named Sinornithomimus, meaning “Chinese bird mimic”.

A few years later in 2001, the international team excavated the remains of more than 25 dinosaurs, creating a large quarry in the process as they as they followed the skeletons into the base of the hill. Remarkable excavation

As the team carefully mapped the location of the bones and strata that contained them (figure 2), it became clear that the dinosaurs were all within the same layer of mudstone (i.e. the same bedding plane), generally facing the same direction and remarkably well preserved.[2]...

I actually was at the top of my class...I learned all that from my biology class and it was in public school too!

I really doubt that. Your list is straight from the creationists websites and is posted repeatedly here by many others!

"Piltdown Man (England, 1912)—This skull was from an ape and jaw of a human. In the 1920’s, they were found to have been purposefully scraped with a wire brush to be made to look old."

PM was never considered as a true specimen by the scientific community. The scientific community was always skeptical and kept testing it for authenticity. When suitable techniques became available, the scientific community tested it and proved it a fake.

Perhaps you should do some research.

Perhaps it is best to agree to disagree since neither of us are changing each other’s minds and all you are doing is attacking me personally.

Great discussion!

Thanks!

Nebraska Man (US, 1922)—In the late 1920’s, they found it was a pig’s tooth that was discovered

A mistake was made, it was not widely thought to be a true specimen and the record was corrected by the scientific community a few years later.

Not. Do you just make this stuff up?

I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them; as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth that the spirit of man goeth upward, and that the spirit of the beast goeth downward to the earth?

“I believe in micro evolution like combining a poodle with a labrador to get a labradoodle. They stay in the same species. A labradoodle is still a dog just like its parents were. Macro evolution like what Darwin claimed, on the other hand, goes to an extreme.”

While biologists do draw a distinction between micro-evolution and macro-evolution it really is a distinction without much difference. Or to put it another way, the distinction is a rather artificial one imposed by biologists. The simple answer is that the process at work in macro-evolution is precisely the same one at work in micro-evolution. So to say I believe micro-evolution, but not macro-evolution may sound erudite to the uneducated, but to those who are familiar with the topic you sound like a boob. It is like saying I believe in molecules, but not in atoms, electrons, protons and neutrons. ~ Steve Verdon

“Why have no missing links been found?”

Again, you really should read the creationist talking points.

And besides, given the new creation cosmologies, there’s no need for light to be created en route.

Thanks, GGG!

It’s nice to get constructive criticism instead of personal attacks.

In one night, I have been called stupid, liar, and even a boob.

I’ll check it out!

Why do Evos have such a huge fascination with blacks from Africa? And why do they almost never come out and just say what they believe about a given topic, preferring instead to hide behind inane quiz questions without a point, purpose, or relevance to the thread?

No, time itself is the question. NOAH was, at most, wandering about 7000 years ago. The dinosaurs bit the big one nearly 70000000 years ago. Only way you can get a NOAH overlay on the dinosaurs is to eliminate about 69993000 years ~ and that’s no small trick.

... Unless time itself is subject to the same rate of decay as everything else.

Par for the course, my FRiend. I have been called much, much worse...and so will you. The mere mention of God’s special creation drives the Temple of Darwin fanatics absolutely crazy, and will do everything they can to make these threads as painful as possible. I too was taken aback by how nasty they are to creationists, but now I take it as encouragement.

You find dino fossils all over the world, including the Middle East. Places long inhabited by mammals, birds, etc. Yet you never see mammal and dino fossils in the same layer.

And yet you can find any "layer" of any age in any possible order somewhere on earth. And you can find transverse fossils that bridge strata of supposedly very different ages. You can also find strata that, to the eye, look continuous but, horizontally, change, according to index fossils, from one into another.

Oh come on GGG. You have to admit that the creationists give every bit as good as they get in the insult department. (I'd actually say they give more--I think "tool of Satan" surpasses anything any evo has said--but I'll just go with "as good as" right now.)

My point was that if dinosaurs had been known in biblical times, then the large preditors would have been pointed out as a scourge to mankind.

Lucy was more than 3 million years old. Neanderthal was less than 1 million years old. In between, among others, was Homo Erectus and Home Habilis.
