Personally I'm looking into crossbows as an alternative. They've been legalized in Michigan for hunting and they're less problematic for a former felony drunk driver like myself.

I’d like to insert an editing correction:

2A) Obtain and securely hide at least one gun that does not appear on a Form 4473 or any other government form anywhere (where legal, of course - I’d never advise anyone to break the law), and make sure that it can be retrieved easily (by you or a trusted loved one or friend) with ammo, magazines (if appropriate), CLP and some critical spare parts.

While the “when we have an army” comment is pertinent coming from someone who has pledged fealty to a politician and is actively soliciting other vassals to do likewise, it’s entirely possible the 62 year old butterball saying it wants to round up an “army” of tiny minority kids to plant a garden in some local park using a government grant.
