Vice President Joe Biden told a joke about Barack Obama's birth certificate at the Gridiron dinner in Washington, D.C. last night.
The joke was reported by Mike Allen at Politico in his article about Biden's intentionally funny speech (as opposed to his usual foot in mouth routine.):
"You know, I never realized just how much power Dick Cheney had until my first day on the job. I walked into my office, and you know how the outgoing president always leaves the incoming president a note in his desk? I opened my drawer and Dick Cheney had left me Barack Obama’s birth certificate."
Numerous court cases have been filed demanding documentation by Obama that he meets the Constitution's requirement that a president be a natural born citizen. Obama has fought those lawsuits instead of producing the requested documentation. His campaign produced a document last summer it claimed proved he was a natural born citizen.
If Biden became president because Obama for being unConstitutional, he may pass over Hillary as VP and go with someone who appears to be a moderate Dem, like Evan Bayh.
More likely it was a Certificate of Authenticity for the Teleprompter.
wow. Freaky.

The best that can be said for Joe Biden is that while he wouldn’t do much good, he wouldn’t do much harm either.
The Republic will at least muddle through a Biden administration. Which, though not a pleasant prospect, is infinitely preferable to the Obama fiasco.
If what you say is true, then there really is a Praetorian guard who have the real power at SCOTUS to decide what cases are seen.
Biden ought to go see Oz...maybe he can finally get a brain.

Truth be told, BHO is entirely too thin-skinned to joke about himself, which is what the Gridiron dinner is all about .. his one attempt at laughing at himself on the Leno show backfired.
I’m sure this was all pre-approved by Obama’s speech writers first. You know, the same ones that gave him the ‘Special Olympic’ line.

It is pure ‘in your face, we won, you go suck eggs; we’ll do as we damned well please and you’ll like it or else.’ Biden is as arrogant as Obama, but not as savvy and no race hustle to fall back on.
This man needs to be removed from office sooner rather than later... I don’t care how much of a “Crisis” it causes, really. He needs to be impeached and investigated for Fraud involved in the bailouts, Civil Rights Violations, and intimidation in sending his ACORN comrades to harass private citizens, and passing a bill of attainder law...
I can think of at least 10-15 bills that have either been proposed or passed now that blatantly violate some part of the Constitution. I don’t think I’ve read one proposal that DOESN’T tear to shred some part of our Civil Rights.
I could go on and on, but I know you’re well aware of what’s happening here...
I hope everyone realizes the gravity of the situation right now.... We are seeing Obama install himself as a dictator, completely ignore the rule of law, and institute oppressive and Unconstitutional laws upon the people of this nation... This is how it started in every country that has been oppressed in this fashion. He is destroying our country in order to gain as much power as quickly as possible... This isn’t something that if we let it carry on is going to be easy to overcome... It’s going to be hard to get Obama investigated, but that must be done as well...
There have to be a FEW GOOD MEN AND WOMEN who will stand up and speak out against Obama — we’re doing so here, but how do we get someone with some kind of power to go on our national media and give a speech demanding and investigation and laying out the reasons why... Lay on the table the reasons we have for requesting an impeachment hearing in Congress. Somehow though we have to address the fact that over half of our Congress either has a conflict of interest in this matter, and some of them are no doubt tied to any crime that may have been committed... How do we work around that...
I don’t want my kids growing up in a Fascist/Communist country! I have friends who came over from Poland and had lived under the Soviets — I DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH THAT!
We need somehow to organize a demonstration or something... I don’t know. I feel sort of helpless... Of course, I’ve been warning about this happening for years now (and I’m hardly the only one). If only people would’ve listened instead of calling us kooks... I don’t know if McCain would’ve been better truthfully. Maybe Sarah would’ve slowed down this progression.
The point is — if we don’t do something about this now there is no way we are going to have a fair and free election in 2010. If we even HAVE an election.
Sorry to ramble... This is like a nightmare.
Well (can’t believe I am explaining for Biden)...but the “joke” is that Obama really, really and trully thinks he IS the Messiah...so Easter prep would be a tad time consuming.
