President Barack Obama has signed an executive order presidential determination allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to resettle in the United States. Sure, what can go wrong when we allow hundreds of thousands of people who have been, as Mark Steyn memorably described, "marinated" in a "sick death cult," who voted for Hamas, and 55% of whom support suicide bombings live here and at the American taxpayers' expense:
By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in migration assistance to the Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.
The "presidential determination" which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States was signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4.
President Obama's decision, according to the Register, was necessitated by "the urgent refugee and migration needs" of the "victims."
Few on Capitol Hill took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.
Let's review some of Barack Obama's most recent actions since he was inaugurated a little more than two weeks ago:
* His first call to any head of state as president was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.
* His first one on one interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.
* He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.
* He ordered all overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.
* He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and 9/11.
* Today we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to and live in the US at American taxpayer expense.
Anyone else seeing a pattern here?
Humanitarian aid for the refugees in Gaza. Food, medicind, probably fuel. We provide it, Israel provides it, it's nothing new. And yes, as you'll note here, The Robbing of Gaza-Stealing relief aid is Hamas’s latest crime against the Palestinians the terrorists steal it to be sold on the black market. When they're not rocketing the border crossings when the aid is going through.
However although we do encourage residents of Gaza to come here for an education, there's no indication that or immigration is being encouraged here. I posted the Memorandum on this thread. The whole "controversy" stems from the fact that the funding, already allocated, comes from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs, including by contributions to international, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations and payment of administrative expenses of the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration of the Department of State, related to humanitarian needs of Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza, irresponsible bloggers focusing on the name of the fund, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration . IMO it makes us on the right look foolish.
See post 181. This is already appropriated money. He's simply instructing the authority in the State Dept. to spend $20 million, likely most of it simply turned over to UNWRA or other NGOs. It's how the President spends discretionary funds, like writing a check.
Yup. And if he actually wanted to resettle large numbers of palestinians here, legislation authorizing visas aside, the $20 million would have an extra zero or two.

As I said from the beginning, he has to be impeached... he is violating his oath/constitution. He is unfit to serve.
Last I checked, their compatriots here were designated as a terrorist organization.

Sorry I know it is bias but after reading a Mitch Rapp, and a Thor novel(Takedown) on how the war against Islamofascism should be won, I just cannot shake the idea that these people are mostly a 5th Column here to undermine us. Our PC baloney will kill us internally as we have seen it do to Britain, Germany and France.

Copy and Paste the limitation on Migration in the “Determination”
Then post which Nations allow immigration of Palestinians in the ME.
You state that the determination says that we are going to pay to bring hamas here and set them up. When asked to prove it your response is; "prove it doesn't".
Sorry, that's a bit too junior high school for me and the bottom line is that the determination just does not say what you pretend that it does.

I repeat...where does it say that? (here's a clue, it doesn't).
You can cite the word migrate or migration in the determination all week if you want to, it won't change it to immigrate or immigration.
The expenditure of twenty million as layed out in the determination is useless as anything but a bone to the palis and will likely be handed over to the UN, some other NGO or to cover the 'administration expenses of Bureau of Population' as the document clearly states.
A couple of internet drama queens want it to be something it isn't.
From the State Department's own announcement (really easy to find)...
"Of the $20.3 million in new ERMA funds, $13.5 million will go to the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), $6 million to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), and $800,000 to the U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). These organizations are distributing emergency food assistance, providing medical assistance and temporary shelter, creating temporary employment, and restoring access to electricity and potable water to the people of Gaza.
Today’s contribution to UNRWA augments the $85 million the United States contributed in December 2008 (OH LOOK....BUSH GAVE FOUR TIMES AS MUCH) toward UNRWA’s 2009 appeals. Of that amount, $25 million supported UNRWA emergency operations in West Bank and Gaza. The remaining $60 million supported UNRWA’s services for 4.6 million Palestinian refugees in the region, including Gaza. UNRWA is the largest provider of humanitarian aid in Gaza, providing 70 percent of the population with emergency food assistance, essential healthcare, and primary education. We are working to develop a longer-term reconstruction/development effort with international partners."
As I wrote...these things are easy to check out for yourself.
Maybe in celebration of their great fortune, after they arrive here, these “refugees” will share their cultural heritage and family values with us...
by reprising the dancing, singing, cheering, whistling and ululating they demonstrated in the streets of Gaza when they got news of the World Trade Center Towers falling!?
(Then we could shoot them all in appreciation, maybe?)
