WASHINGTON -- President Obama, putting his executive pen in his left hand to overrule eight years of Bush administration policy, signed "several" executive orders Thursday, including ones affecting national security and abortion.
The national security orders mandate that interrogation techniques in the Army Field Manual be used by all intelligence and law enforcement services; call for a task force to look at closing the detention center in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, within the year; and order a strategy be developed for handling detainees in the future. The presidential directive also orders a stay in the case of Ali Al-Marri, the only person being held by the military as an enemy combatant on U.S. soil.

It says that “the administration was set to issue a reversal of a ban....”

I believe so. Also, WOAI in San Antonio interviewed a terrorism expert in one of the local universities and he labeled the action as dangerous and naive.

New Yorkers voted for and financed B. Hussein Obama, they won’t get my sympathies when they get hit again. The banking and wall street wizards don’t get my sympathy either. Not to say I want them attacked, but they won’t be as innocent the next time.
As others have stated, Obama’s first official acts are to take the hope of the unborn and given it to the terrorists. The man has different priorities to say the least.

You and I are in agreement concerning both Obama and McCain’s policy on GITMO, but my question concerned their “policies”.
Between the two parties, would you prefer a McCain/Palin administration or an Obama/Biden administration?
I believe that the McCain/Palin leadership would have been better of the two choices.
