As reported on another thread:
"Major Garrett reports from Hawaii 10 minutes ago that David Axelrod the Campaign Manager for Barack Obama says as of this morning the campaign had a meeting in Chicago and according to internal numbers they have "a clear road to victory holding all Kerry states while picking up Ohio, Florida, Colorado, Nevada and Virginia with an excellent shot at Montana, North Carolina, West Virginia, and Indiana."
They are saying they will get to 400 EV's election night."
And I just heard through the grapevine yesterday that McCain-Palin are needing grassroots support in battleground states like Nevada, Montana, Ohio, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina, etc.
Can you imagine conservative Republican states going for Obama? No, and neither can I. Obama has the money, the press and the resources. McCain-Palin has the grassroots. It's time for the grassroots to scramble to action!
Grassroots? That's us! Time for all Free Republic chapters and members to visit or call the closest McCain-Palin or Republican headquarters, grab some signs, man the phones, walk the precincts, join rallies, spread the word! Don't let Obama and ACORN steal the election!! Get in their faces!!
We did it in 2000 and 2004, we can do it again in 2008!!
Go to work FReepers and Lurkers!! Get out the VOTE!!
I’m on it!! You bet!
across the nation against the Marxist/Muslim- get on national TV.
In the middle of Minnesota Blue, manning the battle station!
Franken and Obama signs around me everywhere, but I REFUSE to go all “Eeyore”! I am in this until the end!
1.) Protest the media day write letters, call, picket. Lets keep this up until 11/4 - do whatever it takes.
5.) Blog, blog, blog place links to youtube vidios or stories on other sites, especially those who work with the pumas - the MSM wont get the word out, but we can!!
Yes indeed. I only wish I could pinch the head off whichever Obamamaniac that is failing their LEGAL OBLIGATION to send me my ballot.
Well put Navy Mom!
With a tagline such as yours, I am confused about your ‘disturbing’ comment.
Good time for a reminder!
I am still dealing with intelligent people at work who get glazed eyes when anything Obama comes up at work. Management and engineering are pro McCain, the piping and electrical designers are backing Obama.
The money people are scared to death of the Dims!
Go figure.
During the last election, here in my pop. 8-10K west coast of Ohio town, Kerry signs were everywhere. I only saw the occasional W sign.
I ran 3 short errands today (all done from my car at drive-up windows and yet I still somehow managed to hurt my right knee to the extent that I’m now on crutches, but I digress....).
I purposely took a different route home. I’d estimate that I drove 4 miles total. During that drive I saw at least 50 McCain-Palin signs and 2 (count ‘em, 2!!!) Obama signs.
The “elitists” would say that makes this a racist community; I know we’re an anti-socialist, anti-terrorist, anti-ACORN, pro-life, pro-America town!
Because I seldom am able to leave the house, my grassy roots usually only show here on FR and at http://www.observationaltherapist.com. (For some reason that really hurts my ego, FR does seem to draw a much bigger crowd than OT.com.) ;)
Custer lost because he was arrogant, wanted all the glory for himself and thought he had it in the bag. He underestimated the enemies strength and arms. Sound like a candidate we know?
The Indians won because they were fighting for their way of life and their land. They came together to defeat a common enemy trying to subjugate them, reeducate them and enslave them. Sounds like a bunch of conservatives to me.
doing my part here in Iowa in the mostly liberal University of Iowa environs, and extremely liberal Iowa City “Press-Citizen”...:D
I take it that you're a very disturbed individual.
When the Obama crew starts throwing numbers like 400 electoral votes around, it begins to sound like desperation time. My guess is that their internals are showing McCain with about 325 electoral votes on 11/04. They are panicking.
7.) Remain positive Nothing postive ever resulted from being negative.
8.) Pray
We can do this!!
Make Pray #1 on this list. Just as Sarah said, this race is in Gods hands- but with OUR arms, mouths, legs and feet! Pray without ceasing! I am doing a rosary a day for life from tonight until the last ballot is cast on 11/4!
My youth group is offering up prayer on Oct 29th during the obamamercial that Satan will not have success through his minion.
See the, "post on other sites part?
I was doing that and posting links to McCain email addresses and MSM email addresses at the end, but I was told to shut up or be suspended.
The folks here aren't the ones needing the information, especially multiple times on multiple threds. That's very annoying. Get it?
Get in their faces? EEEWWWH!! YUK!
You’re bad!!!! But I like how you think!
“That comment makes me VERY uncomfortable, Jim.”
I’m undecided in this election. I probably won’t actually decide until I’ve got the ballot sitting in front of me. I’m that torn. Clearly voting for BHO is a nonstarter. However Im having a very hard time reconciling the idea of voting for a faux conservative for President when there are real, honest to goodness conservatives running as 3rd party candidates. Sarah Palin is wonderful. It’s very unfortunate that she isn’t leading the ticket.
So does that make me a hard case? Probably. Does it mean I’ll get my “lip busted”? If it does, so be it.
So I guess the real burning question to ask here is whether Free Republic is a conservative website? Or is it changing to strictly a GOP club?
