The Washington Post isn’t the only daily D.C. newspaper to rave about Sandra Bernhard’s anti-Palin ranting. Wednesday’s Washington Examiner joined in, with the headline "Comedienne delivers enraged optimism." Barbara Mackay claimed "in the end, oddly and subtly, Bernhard’s message is positive."
That’s not the impression you’d get from the blog of Theater J, where Bernhard is appearing. It has video of Bernhard calling Palin "Uncle Women," a "turncoat b—h" and a "whore." One complaint on the blog that Bernhard crosses a line of political incorrectness draws a defense from Ari Roth of Theater J that really drops the curtain on how coarse this show is:

If the philosophy of the left is so ideal, so perfect, so much better than that of Conservatism, then why are so many of its adherents bitter, angry, hateful and spiteful?
Why do they live their lives with such a dark cloud of negativity over their heads? If their philosophy is as great as they claim it to be, then they should be upbeat and confident about it. Instead, we see a constant stream of people like Alec Baldwin, Rosie O’Donnell and Sandra Bullock spewing venom and lies.
I have no desire to believe in a philosophy where I would have to live my life out a bitter, angry and hateful person.
More evidence that liberalism is a mental disease.

I remember reading of a lady like Bernhard once....she got thrown out of a window and her body was eaten of the dogs. She had no grave as there were no scraps of her left!
But we live in an age of grace, and perhaps God can reach her soul!
There are grievous wounds that femism(deliberate mispelling) has wrought on this country....the screams Palin is provoking are coming from the antiseptic that God is attempting to apply to this country. We need to submit and take the medicine lest we die!
On still another hand, a “three bagger” is one where you have to also put a bag over the dog’s head, so he’ll still respect you in the morning.
