I've snipped some Articles from three different sources for this posting.
MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha) is classified as a gang by our government, but MS-13 was, and for all practical purposes, still is a paramilitary organization. With 200,000 members nationwide, and most illegal immigrants, it is an army, an invasion, and should be treated as such.
Anyone can search Yahoo or Google news for MS-13 any day of the week, and they will find murder after murder, and often the victims are US citizens. It is madness.
In remarks Wednesday, DHS Secretary Chertoff said ICE was deporting criminal MS-13 members. Nothing different then what the feds did 20 years ago.
The government has been deporting them for two decades, and they just come right back in. There should be a federal law allowing for their immediate execution if they return. US citizens that join MS-13 should be treated as traitors since the organization is a foreign paramilitary force. And, this includes any politician or government official that has granted favors to MS-13.
If joining or assisting a foreign paramilitary force inside our borders is not treason, what is it?
People really need to think about what is happening here in the USA. All the people that support keeping our troops in Iraq need to understand the paramilitary MS-13 forces in our nation this moment outnumber all our troops in Iraq. Why these folks are more concerned with protecting Iraq than our own soil and American lives is beyond me. What the heck are our people thinking?
When Princeton University, one of the most liberal universities in the nation, is hounding local police to do more to secure the area from the local MS-13 threat there, that’s news. Conservatives need to stop thinking liberals do not care about illegal immigration. Conservatives need to combine forces with the liberals that are concerned, and there are many. Only then can we hope to force politicians of both parties to act. We need to hang-up the conservative and liberal labels and come together as Americans.
If the government waits, and hell breaks out here in the USA, our citizens will not be asking to see any documentation. They will go after anyone they think an illegal immigrant based on race first and many honest, law-abiding US citizens of Mexican, Central and South American decent are going to be hurt badly! This should not happen, but the government has set the stage for it to happen. It’s utter madness!
If this ever happens, hold the politicians accountable.

And, in my opinion, it's time to END immigration. Yes, END it.
American immigration policies were - until 1965 - designed to essentially protect the European-based ethnicity and culture of the nation. No more.
We should return to the policy of admitting only those of traditional European ancestry, and even then, in limited numbers.
Enough is enough.
I realize others' opinions may be different.

I moved to California the day after I graduated from college in 1976. I had found paradise!(came from Mass).
In 76, California was a clean, rather conservative state.
I noticed about 1987 that Los Angeles was becoming a slum....and quickly. I had my business in a Mid Wilshire
highrise. Up until 87, it was clean and full of professional people. In 1 year, it turned into a ghetto!Illegal immigrants swarmed into the area, and trashed it.
Garbage everywhere, graffiti, and crime. By 1988, I moved my office to an outer suburb. By 2006, I had seen many parts of Los Angeles trashed. I could no longer bear to watch my beloved California utterly destroyed by illegal invaders, so I left the state. If every FReeper could have witnessed what I did in California, they would realize we are under attack!

1986 Amnesty??
As a young kid I used to drive out that way from time to time.
Driving through some of the neighborhoods that I did just north of Wilshire, I used to really love the way the two story homes looked. There were rental properties. There were singly family dwellings. The homes were impecably maintained. The yards were nicely landscaped. It was nice to travel through the area.
Then I drove through the area again in the late 1990s. Oh my God! Like you mentioned, the area had taken a nose dive.
I have witnessed other areas do the same thing. As you mention the Southland used to be a great place. It has been trashed so badly that I doubt it will every recover it’s former beauty.
Illegal and legal immigration to this nation have been so terribly mismanaged over the last few decades, that even if we put a moritorium into effect, blocking immigration for a serveral decades, this nation would still not right itself.
We have allowed swarm immigration to swamp regions of our nation. And now, even the new births in those regions are not guaranteed to adopt and become Americanized. Heaven knows the liberals aren’t going to support it.

My wife refers to the area south and slightly west of the Mexico embassy in Los Angeles as being a dangerous Salvadorian neighborhood.
That is the impression I got from her anyway.

Here is the problem. Since Bush took office, we have had at least 10 million illegal invaders jump our borders. In 2000, I believe we only had 10 million illegals, but Bush has relentlessly promoted illegal immigration since the day he took office. He only hired those who held the same philosophy that he has; people like Rove, Gonzales, Chertoff, Tony Snow, et, al. Now, instead of only the western states being invaded, every state in the USA has been invaded, at least to a certain degree. The South has been hit really bad, as it has been booming due to low real estate values, anda huge demand for construction workers. Numbers USA estimates that we have over 21 million illegals right now, and climbing every day. Americans have finally woken up to the fact that we have been INVADED, and the only reason the Comprehensive Amnesty Bullet was not rammed down our throasts, is because the quintessential whore politicians has their fax lines fried by furious American patriots warning them that their days were numbered.
They are opportunists, money talks and if Al Queda brings the money, then MS13 will get them across the borders to the United States.
These people are ruthless and stupid, they would pee in the same bed they planned to sleep in.
Not much gray matter working in their heads at all.
