Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?

On your Freeper page you state:
I support Rudy Guiliani for President in 2008. I believe he is just the person our Country needs. Tough on defense and sensible on taxes. The other stuff will work itself out. By other stuff do you mean right to life, the homosexual agenda, judicial appointments, 2nd amendment freedoms -- you know, stuff like that?
In my view, those issues reflect basic family values, morally based policy positions, not stuff. Just wondering what you think they are...

You can’t be a conservative and liberal at the same time.
You have to pick one or the other.
And “all the other stuff will work itself out”, won’t.

(tie) Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani: 8 votes 6. US Senator Sam Bownback (R-KS): 3 votes If not mentioned: zero votesWhy are there so few Republicans in the California Assembly?
Think about it.

Hildy, JR has shown great restraint. I don’t think he really wants to ban anyone. But he’s cleaning out the ones who refuse to stop using his site to promote a candidate he’s strongly opposed to, down to the core. Are you going to risk your posting privilege by promoting a candidate you don’t even support?

I was up very late that night. They were discussing a way to set FA up. I liked him. He was fun and a conservative fighter. One of those people is gone over the weekend.
I will also admit that I am no expert and would not pretend to be.

It’s not that we don’t like Giuliani, I think most people here think he did a fine job as NY mayor. What we are opposed to is seeing him as POTUS. It baffles me how so many intelligent, conservative, people can be duped into thinking that Giuliani is a conservative and would be a better President than Hillary. Honestly, I can’t see that much difference in the two philosophies (Clinton and Giuliani)

I have never hidden how I feel. The WOT is THE biggest issue for me. I don’t care about abortion and I actually don’t care if people are gay. So if that makes me a liberal, so be it. Just to remind you, both are legal in this country.

Social conservatism is not going to win this election. It is a national negative, and candidates on the Republican side who try to embrace and mollify the segments of the base who demand that government get involved in the societal lives of people will find that they have screwed their chances Nationally. That's just a fact of this particular election cycle, and there is no getting away from it.
That is your hope and opinion because you think that way, but its not necessarily true.
I believe the majority of Americans would be in agreement with the Republican PLatform if they read it.
Big problem is the RINOS are make the Republican party look little different from the democrat party.
Voters want true backboned conservatives not go along to get along squishes and RINOS.

I live in Maryland which is a one Party state. It appears that Cali is also a one Party state. That’s my unsophisticated jab at it....so why?

Yes they are, and yes you are.
So stop pretending to be something you’re not.
A CONSERVATIVE.
If you just would admit that to yourself and others, then the responses at least would be honest, and not contrived.

You dis conservatives, promote liberal Rudy on a conservative forum, and then you play the victim. You know better Hildy. If Jim wanted you gone, you’d already be gone. You just can’t give it up can you? This is beginning to look like a rerun from the other night when Peach did this very same thing. If you keep this up you’ll have no one to blame but yourself. Take a chill pill or go play on another thread for awhile.
