Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

check this dandy out

Got one ordered for myself. It is a nice price and all Russian body armor must be 'Tokerov' rated. She hits pretty hard because it is a 7.62x 24 (or 25). I also purchased a M44 Russian made 7.62x54(or55 I fergit) and it has the steel butt plate for crushin Commie skulls and bayonet. Now I can kill Commies with their own weapon. ;-) Makes me feel good when I shoot her. If you want a good battle weapon, check out the M44 on gun broker. I got mine for like 225 (with shipping and transfer fees.) Plus 300 rounds are included. Nice price for a battle weapon. Sites go to 1000 meters. I can't see that far anymore. You can't put a scope on her. You wouldn't want to anyway. She is a battle weapon. I thought the M44 (and I don't have the CZ52 in my hand yet, so I can't say on that) has been the best deal so far. I highly recommend taking a look.

here is the link to the m44 and 300 rounds (kill 'em with their own ammo, I like to say):

http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=70301556

Since the rat took over I have purchased four weapons. I am going to invest in more too. Also, since the Republicans will not stand up for Border Security. I stopped sending them money and started sending money to the NRA again.

Did I say anything to suggest to you that I was looking to debate with you? Your comment was, quite simply, disgusting and revolting. It shows where both your brain and heart reside. I’m not going to fight over figures when what matters most to me is the human cost. Debate your ghoulish calculations with someone else.

I don’t know where you found those remarks by Ronald Reagan, calcowgirl, but I thank you for posting them. Great find!

Thanks, all! I pulled them from a few 1967 articles in the LA Times. I didn't save them, but I could pull them again and email them if anyone had a real desire or need for them. I accessed them from the public library online database.

--papasmurf, I should have pinged you to this post.

It all started the other night when the Sooner gal got on her high horse, and started whining about no one loved her more for being a Rudybot. Jim jumped in the middle of her as well.

Mr. Robinson, I know you won't, and I won't either.

The one that cures cancer, judging by the major contemporary medical researchers, is likely to have IQ >160. Murray and Herrnstein [”Bell Curve”, 1994] traced, among other things, the background of such children. The way the things are, his mother, being smart enough, would not need to have an abortion - she is already planning and timing her children, and knows how to use the contraceptives. The one who will cure cancer will be a desired, wanted child. [with probability 99+%]. His being desired and wanted will contribute to the parental care and involvement in his growing up, propelling him to the full realization of his IQ. The same, but with different probabilities [not 99+ but 80-90%} could be repeated about the future businessman.

And how many of your 199 will become underclass drains on the society?

So, why don't we wait to see if they actually do become drains on society. And if they, in fact, DO become drains, THEN we can kill them. Fire up the ovens, gas up the showers, we've got some useless eaters to exterminate. < /s >

ps. You disgust me. You are not a conservative. You are a monster.

How did quidnunc lower the IQ of the forum? I haven't followed his posts.

I have.

In every post of his I have ever seen -- there has never been a Foreign War, Drug War, Civil Rights, Privacy Violation, Gun Control, or Eminent Domain of Private Property Thread posted in which Quidnunc did not support the Expansion of Federal Government Power at the expense of the Private Citizenry.

I have never known Quidnunc to call for any restraint of the Federal Government on any issue, whatsoever... and if you dared to disagree with his own Jack-Boot definition of "Conservatism", he'd spam the Thread with accusations that you were a "LiberalDoperTarian" or whatever (never mind that the Thread concerned Privacy or Gun Control or Eminent Domain, or what have you).

His entire Mental Philosophy could be boiled down to "More Government Force = Good, always Good!", and his entire repertoire of intellectual Argumentation did not extend beyond the basest and most stupid Ad Hominem.

I quickly learnt to ignore him, but he still wasted bandwidth at a prodigious rate.

JR owes no explanation, although I think it would help his site. Profanity - that violates the forum rules, no?

"Profanity", to be absolutely exact, involves Profaning the Holy (i.e., the Third Commandment against "Taking the Lord's Name in Vain" and associated blasphemies).

I don't think that Jim has ever been guilty of Profanity, strictly speaking.

Now you might accuse him of "Vulgarity", I suppose -- but, as I said before, "Ass" is a King James Bible Word. There are several passages of Scripture I couldn't even post without employing the term. I think that Jim can probably get away with using the word coarsely, once, on his Own Forum, in ejecting a Jack-Boot gun-controller like "Quidnunc"... without having to Ban Himself.

Best, OP

>>>>>We had the same kind of debates when Schwarzenegger was running for gov. I am PROUD to say I supported McClintock all the way and tried to warn everyone about “Schwarzenkennedy” but Republicans were hungry for a win AND NOW JUST LOOK AT THIS MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I supported Tom McClintock too. The California recall election of 2003 is when Free Republic began slowing moving away from conservatism. I don't know why Jim let people spew all the crapola they kept posting, but Arnold Schwarzy`s candidacy was definitely the beginning of the revival of Rockefeller Republicanism. Now with the liberal RudyG sucking up all the oxygen in GOP political circles, the handwriting is on the wall. Its time to fight back against these liberal Republicans with everything we conservative can muster.

Fred will not be our savior. He maybe the best that we have available, and if he doesn't declare, not even that

I really like Thompson, too. But he just doesn't seem like he has the necessary fire in the belly. If the Republican candidate comes across in the run-up to the general election as half-hearted, weary, and hesitant, we run the risk of getting waxed just as bad as 1996, when Dole was our flag bearer. We're going to need high energy and optimism this time around, and plenty of both.

Seriously, you are creepy. You could make the same argument to support eugenics. You obviously don’t care one bit about human life and are perfectly willing to see those whom you even think might be potential welfare users butchered. Ghoulish, inhumane, the adjectives go on and on...

This isn't an immigration thread...but suffice to say:

1) I want the strictest border control possible.
2) I want anybody with a felony conviction deported along with any of their dependents that are illegals.

Once you've run the gauntlet and have a job, a house (lease)...and haven't broken any other laws...they should be welcomed and given a fast-track to citizenship.

And better it should be a GOP administration...since it's crazy to let the DEMS have all of them.

Well, if you can only see black and white without shades of grey, its gonna be a pretty empty world for you. But, from all the years I’ve been here, I know that when someone resorts to calling you a liberal, then they pretty much ran out of intelligent debate.

But that is what you were doing. You are arguing that conservatives must become more "moderate". What that means is that conservatives must become more LIBERAL. That is what you're preaching. And I ain't drinkin' your KoolAid - go peddle it somewhere else.

“The one who will cure cancer will be a desired, wanted child. [with probability 99+%]”

Then don’t stop at your desire to pay for abortions. Let’s sterilize all of the blacks, latinos, and whites and keep only asians and jews. There are of higher IQ by statistical standards and would provide a much higher standard of living.
