This isn't an immigration thread...but suffice to say:

1) I want the strictest border control possible.
2) I want anybody with a felony conviction deported along with any of their dependents that are illegals.

Once you've run the gauntlet and have a job, a house (lease)...and haven't broken any other laws...they should be welcomed and given a fast-track to citizenship.

And better it should be a GOP administration...since it's crazy to let the DEMS have all of them.

If they are here working and renting a house, they've broken several laws. Why should they be excused for identity theft when no citizen would be? Why should they be forgiven for breaking wage laws when no citizen would be? It is also clear an alien cannot rent, as it is also against the law to rent to them. My child has to have a US birth certificate to attend school. Why don't they?

By "run the gauntlet" I assume that you mean "evaded America's defenses and illegally broken and entered into the country." And you want to welcome them and give them jobs and citizenship?! So, how does your view on this differ from Hillary's?

One of the (many) things that isn’t right about the illegal immigration fiasco is that the government currently looks the other way re illegal immigrants from south of the border, but others -— including Irish, Thai, African, etal — when caught here illegally, get roundly deported.

And many, who apply the legal route from other countries, are rejected or have their applications severely delayed.

There is a GROSS INEQUITY in the immigration system. The current administration has filled all top posts with Latin Americans.

EVERYONE who immigrates legally should learn English and citizenship. Your illegals bypass all that. I don’t care how many hours a day they “work hard” etc.... they are bypassing our immigration laws, and BTW, many of our other laws and that is IMMORAL.

The Latin American immigrants are demanding, and receiving, favoritism in terms of language and state benefits. We are rapidly becoming BI-CULTURAL. Witness food packaging, voice mail menus, customer service, media, healthcare, voting ballots and more .... all offering options in Spanish. If we don’t provide “Spanish on demand” at the hospital, we can be fined and otherwise penalized.

This immigration fight is about the MORAL FIBER of our Nation, and about preserving our culture. I have no disrespect for the cultures of other nations, and I do not accept disrespect for ours by those who migrate here either legally or illegally.
