They'll be sentenced to 25 years to life. Which in New York means they'll have their first parole hearing in 8 years. And if not granted parole the first time, will be granted the second or third time.

This is a federal trial. No parole, and possible death penalty.

It was mean of the police to put those spiders on Ronnell's head, don't you think?

...where was Al Sharpton when these hero cops were killed?

Exactly!
Prayers for the families of these two brave and honorable men.

I would vote for tieing him down next to a large fire ant mound. But hey, that's just me.

I would strangle this piece of human debris with my own hands if I just had the chance.

Thank you for the clarification. I am inclined to agree with you.

I couldn't agree with you more. It was not only insensitive, it was wrong.

I'm glad we can agree on something.
Stings may be currently used but are not valid, the outcome of this and many other stings are evidence of this.

this murderer was no choir boy

Exactly my other point in the original now censored post. Doing business with these types, acting like them in order to gain thier trust and entrap them is not valid law enforcement, it is the opposite. Valuable cops and needed resources shouldn't have to engage in criminal activity with criminals in order to prevent crime.

Down here in central FL earlier this year a good cop was shot by another cop in an undercover sting operation designed to stop underage drinking at college football games. If the LEO agencies (2 involved and not communicating with each other before hand) had acted as LEO's and not hid who they were and what they were doing this guy's wife wouldn't be a widow. It may have been a bit more difficult to catch people, maybe, but was the prospect of an easy PI or underage drinking charge worth this guy's life and the heart of the poor guy who shot his brother LEO?
In my opinion no, in your opinion yes. There we'll have to disagree.

I didn't imply that, you misunderstood.
These good men were put into a dangerous and unnecessary situation and paid the price for the bad decisions thier top brass made.
I was not out of bounds.

You know what they say about assumptions....

and you have little understanding or love for the founders' intent in the constitution when you bash libertarians and support unconstitutional LE policy.

This is a federal trial. No parole, and possible death penalty.

Will they be tried before a Carter, Clinton, Reagan, or Bush appointee?

You forgot to cover him in honey.

I figured that was implied. But I don't even think you would need honey, the ants would know what to do.

I'm amazed daily at how much people freak if they get "offended" these days! I find it in myself too much too.

Yes, we live in a PC world. It's not like it used to be.

BTW, good clarification in post 36.

That's something I wondered - where was Rev(s) Al & Jesse when these BLACK police officers were killed. Surely not helping the family deal with the results.

Can I ask, for sake of perspective, how many years have you spent in law enforcement?
