The media does not like Republicans who act like Republicans, and they really, really hate conservatives The latest media ploy is to equate the word "conservative" with what they call 'extreme right-wing, evangenlical, bigoted enemy of the young, old, progressives, minorities' who will stop at nothing until Christianity is the 'official religion of the U.S.' This is a reaction to how the term "liberal" has become known as the "America hating, terrorist loving, wealth redistributing, marxist, overly politically-correct echo chamber" that it is.
Pay close attention and you'll see it.
