Three From Clinton Administration Urge Disney to Cancel or Revise Sept. 11 Miniseries

Three members of the Clinton administration have written the chairman of the Walt Disney Company, ABCs parent, to complain that the networks coming two-part miniseries The Path to 9/11 is fraught with factual errors and fabrications.
The letters ask that the five-hour movie, scheduled for broadcast Sunday and Monday, be either edited for accuracy or canceled, and ABC gave a small indication yesterday that some changes might be made.
One of the officials, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, said in her letter to the Disney chairman, Robert A. Iger, that although she had requested a copy of the film, ABC had not given her one. But, Ms. Albright said, she has been told by people who have seen it that it depicts scenes that never happened, events that never took place, decisions that were never made and conversations that never occurred.
It asserts as fact things that are not fact, she wrote.
The concerns of Ms. Albright, as well as those in letters from Samuel R. Berger, former national security Adviser, and Bruce Lindsey, a Clinton White House aide who is now chief executive of the Clinton Foundation, were echoed yesterday by several Democratic members of Congress.
ABC, meanwhile, continued to explain that the miniseries, though largely drawn from the report of the Sept. 11 commission, was a dramatization, not a documentary.
But the network appeared to be leaving the door open to last-minute changes in t the film, which cost almost $40 million and is to be shown without any advertisements.
It is common practice to continue to make edits to strengthen a project right up to the broadcast date, said Hope Hartman, an ABC spokeswoman.

ABC could probably do a documentary on Clintons attempt to squelch this docudrama. I bet the phone calls and letters are white hot. Clinton's general ineptness is about to be shown for what it is.
Oh my lord ................ maybe Mad Maddie Albright spread her legs.;-)
I agree!
Hey New York Times, there is no Clinton administration.
Yes, but what will it say?

Hmmm....I wonder if we are being set up to watch this just like we were for the Clinton testimony tape during the Paula Jones case.
Slick Willy entered office for two reasons...

No, there were 3 reasons:
3. To get rich
Fat Maddie just learned her 15 minutes are over.
Just heard the film is being altered.
Let the games begin. Heard the same at the top of the hour. Un-real.
Because it hurts too much. I'll be interested to know what edits are made when the dust settles on this.
Once the edits are known to have been being made then there's no telling what has been edited. These are sly fox at the networks that have mastered the art of being able to change as little as 1 word which changes the meaning.
With all the editing there might be happening, it could be much shorter as well.
According to the news today Clinton wrote a letter to ABC asking them to edit the film or cancel it. They're all howling now - even Madame Albright! The truth hurts - especially when it exposes the true Bubba legacy!
If he were smart, he's just wait until the thing airs, and people have seen it, and point by point tell them what was wrong. That's what people do in a free society.
