[history]
An arsenal of exotic weapons - including a sniper rifle, a spear and a set of 8-inch metal claws - were seized from a 23-year-old Jersey City man after his worried father called cops. When South District cops responded to the Greenville home yesterday morning, they found the sniper rifle - with a powerful scope and a laser sight - as well as three Glock handguns and more than 1,200 rounds of ammunition, reports said. Among the bullets were illegal "hollow-point" rounds, police said. In addition to the spear and metal claws, cops found a number of savage-looking knives, including one that had blades coming out of each end of its carved wooden handle. The owner of the weapons lived with his father, his brother and two younger brothers, police said.

You've got it. They even have to go out and get new cannon. They shot the bores out of the old ones. As I understand it, They have also gone the way of England, You can't own a new gun in all of Canada.

my machete is laying on the desk beside my computer that my brother was using to clear away some brush.Wouldn't it have been better to use the machete to clear away the brush?

Get your carry permit. It's really easy here in NC. As for a .45, take a look at Sig and Kimber.
I prefer a 9mm since the .45 is too much gun for me.

Probably, but you'll have to take it up with him.
To: Firefigher NC
No thanks, I make it a point to never confront a man who clears brush with a computer.

Yikes, I've got at least a 1000 rounds of hollowpoint .40 S&W, 185 grains in an ammo can, and I don't even own a .40 handgun any longer.

Apparently there was some kind of a data-sharing agreement between NJ and neighboring states to report long gun sales to NJ residents back to NJ. Why PA agreed, I have no idea. NY and Delaware were and are hopeless in this regard.
I got a lower for a Bushie AR from an FFL friend in NY state about 1 week before the deadline because I couldn't get the entire rifle that I wanted then. I had 1/2 of a rifle for a couple of years, but got the Bushie upper shortly after the Beltway "sniper" incident (just to have an "evil Bushmaster assault rifle." The thing shoots very well, usually into about 3/4 inch with reloads at 100 yards if I do my part. I enjoy shooting 5.56 mm holes into NJ quarters, for some strange reason. :>)

All my guns were lost in that tragic boating accident.

If MILT is in NJ I could care less.... Apparently NJ police are a lot like the french... if this is what they consider a crime.

I'm soooo glad that when I was living in NJ that my parents weren't as STOOOPID as this guy's father. My guess is there is more to the story. There may be another reason the father filed for a restraining order. At least a few other Freepers here suspect the same.

I've been poking around looking at 7.62x51 and 8mm. What would you recommend for 7.62x51? Try this fella. He pays the shipping, which can get pretty steep when youy buy by the case.

I've often wondered how one man can shoot 1200 rounds all at once. I'll lurk this thread so maybe someone can brainwash me. It's easy! Takes about a minute, if you've linked all the belts together...
