[history]
An arsenal of exotic weapons - including a sniper rifle, a spear and a set of 8-inch metal claws - were seized from a 23-year-old Jersey City man after his worried father called cops. When South District cops responded to the Greenville home yesterday morning, they found the sniper rifle - with a powerful scope and a laser sight - as well as three Glock handguns and more than 1,200 rounds of ammunition, reports said. Among the bullets were illegal "hollow-point" rounds, police said. In addition to the spear and metal claws, cops found a number of savage-looking knives, including one that had blades coming out of each end of its carved wooden handle. The owner of the weapons lived with his father, his brother and two younger brothers, police said.

Wow, a scoped rifle, some handguns, and knives are now a threatening 'arsenal.' Also, how can this author make hollow points sound exotic and unknown? Just seems like something everybody would know about.

He was more heavily armed than Canada.

It's a stockpile, I tell ya! It sure sounds menacing. Better report anyone with a rifle to authorities. Ditto for knives. Better lock em up.

Don't forget that these weren't ordinary guns and knives...these were savage looking weapons.

Yeah, but how about the Klingon Ninja's "metal claws and savage-looking knives, including one that had blades coming out of each end of its carved wooden handle".
I wonder where I can get one of those....:-)

As I type, my machete is laying on the desk beside my computer that my brother was using to clear away some brush. Wonder what the liberal weenies would think of that?

"Among the bullets were illegal "hollow-point" rounds" I overlooked that. LOL You can't own hollowpoints in NJ? I have several handgun mags full of them!

LOL. I have 11 hollow points strapped to my ankle right now. You know, 1 in the chamber and 10 in the magazine.

Thoughtcrime certainly. Seriously, 4 guns is a "cache" B.S! I have 2 and a K-bar in my trunk. I guess my car would a mobile arsenal by their definition. I too collect "exotic" weapons, ie, knives, swords, etc, probably a good percentage on FR do as well. Fortunately I do not live in the People's Republic of NJ. Plus he was 23, he has a right to own those weapons.
