I just received a phone call from Kristinn!!

The DC Chapter of Protest Warriors obtained a permit for Code Pink’s side of the street today after the Pinko’s forgot to renew their permit. The blood dancers tried to stick it out for about 20-25 minutes before they tucked tail and retreated a block away to the closed entrance. Freepers and Protest Warriors now have all four corners outside the main entrance to WRAMC!

Maybe we should have been CIVIL about it and let them have "their" corner anyway!

That's what Mrs. Bruce (I think) said. When she arrived, she told us to leave because they were having a vigil, and I said, no you're not, we have a PERMIT for this corner and there'll be no vigils here tonight. She told me we should do the civil thing and go back to "our" side. I told her this WAS our side. She left then, but came back a couple of times to tell me that they WOULD get it straightened out. You betcha, baby.

The groups on both sides of Georgia were chanting it back & forth to each other.
I wrote a song, too, or at least began one in a flash of instant inspiration. I'm honored that my fellow freepers thought it worthy to sing as the pinkos departed:

Yes Allison, people do become busy. But I'll tell you what...if I made a living being a perpetual malcontent such as yourself I would have made it a point to stay on top the permit and guard that corner for all I was worth.
