This is yet another issue that is being trotted out as an "impeach Bush now" item by the Democrats and the MSM. They will see if it can gain traction in the next few weeks and, if not, they will move on. The sad truth of the matter, is that any President who had not done this would be worthy of impeachment for endangering the American people.

It is getting increasingly difficult for me to maintain my equilibrium with the scum that support Islamism by their actions and endanger both America and the non-Muslim world.

I think a lot of them have been almost hoping for another attack so they could hit Bush over the head with it.

I personally am quite surprised we haven't been attacked again. Obviously I'm not "in the know" but I credit the Patriot act, eavesdropping, etc for that fact.

The Democrats are openly talking about impeaching Bush if they regain control of the House next November. I don't think they want to remove him since they hate Cheney at least as much, but such a maneuver would weaken him (like the Ronnie Earle farce has weakened Tom DeLay's political clout in Congress), as well as being payback for the Republican impeachment of Clinton.

As long as Bush is President, the Democrats and the media are happy to do things to help our enemies as long as they think Bush will be weakened thereby. Do they really think the terrorists are going to call off their war on us the day Hillary is sworn in? Don't they remember that there were terrorist attacks on Americans while Bill Clinton was President?

We had 8 years of the Clinton's using the IRS to threaten their political enemies, bodies of Clinton cronies turing up in strange places, and Chi-Coms fleeing the country to avoid testifying as to their illegal campaign contributions to the Clintons.

Congressional traitors and the press attack Pres. GWB on a fake leak and pretecting the USA (legally) against our enemies.

If the ghosts of our original Congress were to rise today, the gallows would be filled with the current Congress. I have a hard time thinking of who is not a compromised, pandering ass-licker. My current Senators (Voinivich and DeWine) aren't fit to pump septic tanks. Let alone represent the citizens of their state in the Senate.

I am royally PO'd by these treasonous traitors.

And our immigration obsessed Freepers are complicit in this whole affair by marching around organizing funding boycotts of the RNC.

"We need to put pressure on the Senators in our own states."

That's a good idea. Any idea how I, as a Republican, can get Senator Feingold and my CongressLesbian Tammy Baldwin to listen to me, since I've never voted for either of these Democrats in the first place?

I don't think threatening them with no vote from me again will work, and they don't even return e-mails or calls from Republican constituents.

Other than working on Republican campaigns, which I do, my options are pretty limited. (Wisconsin has a Republican majority House and Senate, though they can't get anything done because the Democrat Governor vetoes everything Republican that comes before him.)

Sent the following email to comments@whitehouse.gov this a.m. I believe others should also support him on this issue. It's time we do something besides just pass messages back and forth to one another. Another way is to write our representatives and tell them how they stand with us. If enough do so even those who represent us who are liberal/socialists (Such as my Barak Abama/Dick Durbin) will get the point.

"Mr. President:

It has been obvious for some time that you stand very much alone in your resolve to fight the War On Terror. Congress continues to be divided over issues such as the Patriot Act, Senator McCain’s bill on torture (which was passed but still divides both the House and the Senate), and Immigration Reform. While I did not hear your radio address this morning (December 17, 2005) I read it online. I am as frustrated as you are with our Congress, and especially their reproach for the NSA issue in which they were obviously included since its inception (The New York Times even admits to this in their article).

I am writing to let you know that your Conservative base is behind you on the War On Terror. The revealing of secret and sensitive information to the news media is a despicable act. I believe anyone who provided this information acted against the law, and against America’s vital interests and security. I would like to see you seek an investigation by the Justice Department into these illegal leaks, whether it be by members of Congress, the Executive Branch, the CIA/NSA, or whomever. Also, the news media itself should come under investigation for whatever role they play in providing such sensitive information to the public (and to our enemies).

Obviously, accommodation with the Democrats has not worked. Neither has it worked with moderate members of our own party. The time has come to take the gloves off and lead us to victory. Many on both sides of the aisle of Congress may have to be dragged kicking and screaming, but America will be safe, and they can be replaced by others who are willing to serve America instead of their own personal interests.

Essentially, what I am saying is ‘enough already’. Let’s get the job done, lets root out those who oppose a tough stance on the war and make them accountable for their actions and stance. Let’s expose the lies and hypocrisy of those who daily talk down our efforts in Iraq yet say they support our military. We will never get them to our side. It’s time to expose their side for what it is anti-American rhetoric if the vilest kind. You have a large base of the public who would be behind you should you take such action. This most recent exposure by the New York Times simply provides a perfect avenue to begin the counterattack. Please make it happen.

I wish God’s blessings to you and your family this Christmas and always."

"President Bush? Spend the rest of your term as a divider. Divide us into the Patriots and the Traitors"

Incredibly well put!
