From Powerlineblog: It was no coincidence, for example, that none of the Republican Senators who supported the filibuster of the Patriot Act is up for re-election next year, while the two Democrats who opposed the filibuster both will be running at that time.

These storys are hit pieces, to weaken Bush and set up 2006 and 2008 elections.
The Democrats are seditious traitors.
They want to destroy America.

"Being nice has gotten him nowhere."
It's gotten our Party nowhere, too. We've had one wheel in the sand for way too long now. It's incredibly frustrating.
President Bush? Spend the rest of your term as a divider. Divide us into the Patriots and the Traitors. Push the Dems over the cliff and dash them on the rocks below!

Impeach Congress. Arrest whoever leaked the story to the NYT for breeching national security.

Buchanon, who is usually annoyingly anti-Bush, was admiring the President. You should have seen the Democratic talking head back down when Buchanon said the Democrats should impeach Bush if they don't like what he did. Oh no, we're not anywhere near that. You bet.
I want to see more fighting words tomorrow night. Maybe the Dems want an attack on our country so they can blame Bush for not taking aggressive action. Action they blame him for.

That ship sailed long ago. The Dems have been dividing the nation for decades. Bush tried to departisanize it, but it obviously has failed. Now he's given up. I don't blame him. He should never have dreamed that he could unify this country in the first place. It was a waste of effort, and simply delayed the inevitable bloodletting that will come.

Congress didn't have the same intelligence as Bush? Not again!

He hasn't had $.10 worth of help from his GOP house and senate leadership.

Very hard to do that when you keep having to pull the long knives out of your back like the ones Spector keeps jabbing in there.

Being nice has gotten him nowhereIf President Bush had wanted to exercise the nearly limitless War Power of the United States, he should have asked for it.

I didn't hear the Radio Address, but here's hoping this will lead to more of the same and no more invitations of popcorn-and-a-movie with Teddy, and anyone else from the Other Side for that matter.
