AP reporting Kaine winner with 74% reporting
Just wait and see... this is a sign of things to come...
Damn it!
Sad, but I really don't think these elections have the national implications that the dems. believe they do....I live in Illinois and nothing will be different tomorrow....
Are Colmes' eyeballs spinning around?
Well, that didn't take long.
Stuff like this will happen when the base is ignored.
Well, playing the 'Hitler' card was rather dumb, that kind of hyperbole always backfire. I heard the commercial today, it was stupid. The kind of political ad that would put together by the losing team on 'The Apprentice'.
Corzine ahead in NJ with 30% of precincts reporting.
The candidate of the party in the White House has lost the VA gov. race for every election going back to Jimmy Carter. So yeah, the nat'l implications are probably small.
Kaine up 50,000 votes with 74% in
Keep in mind that Kaine is following the foot steps of a very popular Democrat governor who did not govern.
The media will play this like a Bush loss - but anyone who is following politics will tell you that many times red states will have blue govs. i dont know why it happens, it just does.
Kinda like why MA elected Romney.
Are Colmes' eyeballs spinning around?
No more than usual. ;-)
It's only going to get worse since the President has no plans to come out and combat all the rumors... even Britt Hume was rolling his eyes tonight and they were alluding that everyone is just hiding out because they have nothing to say.... can we say profoundly disappointed?????
Dick Morris saying on Hannity & Colmes that 'Kilgore ran a really dumb campaign.'
The "base" in North Virginia is increasingly liberal. The bureaucrats are moving across the Potomoc to get away from Maryland taxes.
Not that I care as NYers are always told "you make your own bed," but did the dead Democrats get the vote out in Virginia?
Kind of funny, but I'd rather have RINO Bloomberg as mayor rather than a LIBERAL DEM as my governor.
So far it seems to be a very low turnout election. My guess is that the rural and exurban areas of VA had the biggest drops in turnout.
