Byron York of The National Review had a great article yesterday about the devolution of the MoveOn Katrina Victims protest at the White House.
Dana Milbank of the Washington Post also wrote about MoveOn's troubled demonstration.
However, apparently both these fine observers of the scene had departed when the worst part of the MoveOn protest happened.
As Angelwood and I stood talking and debating with malingering MoveOn protesters, a man standing about twenty or thirty feet away from us was giving an interview with an independent D.C. journalist.
I recognized the man as a long time liberal activist from Florida whom we had first met during the build up to the impeachment of President Clinton.
Then, he was defending Bill Clinton, now he's trying to draft his wife Hillary to run for president herself.
It took a while for the man's name to come to mind. It was Bob...something.
As he was giving the interview, the man became agitated and started speaking in a loud voice. He welled up into a tirade and blurted out, "FReepers should be shot!"
I was looking at him as he said this, as his loud voice was naturally drawing the attention of those within ever-growing earshot as his decibel level grew.
Knowing he was out on the political hustings and has been on TV shows and been quoted many times in the press, I asked him if he had just said that we (Freepers) should be shot . I thought maybe he'd take it back and try to excuse himself for being so worked up.
But no, he responded, "Yes, you should be shot!"
He walked away after that. The police did nothing.
Angelwood and I left soon after. The man's name finally came to me. Bob Kunst, president of Hillary Now.
I suppose he's lucky the TV cameras were long gone by then. But there is an audiotape. There was a microphone right in his face when he yelled out, "Freepers should be shot!"
It's always enlightening to see the people who are behind Hillary; unstable nuts along with a long list of anti-American organizations, think tanks and the biased MSM....a person who is always looking for an image to please the voters, is more than unstable, in this case, Hillary - The Activist, The Moderate, The Hawk, The Feminist, The Devoted Spouse, The Radical, The Socialist…..but most notable - the Anti-American, Bush Bashing, Anti-Constitution, Junior Senator from New York.
DITTO, that is the first thing I noticed.

I doubt it. Our side is better armed. Most of these liberal moonbats have never served in the military or even handled a firearm. It would be a BIG mistake for them to try and get violent.

You can't fault the maggot for being honest about his feelings. Just like a good communist, he wants to put people who disagree w/ his political ideology against a wall and shoot them.
I hate to pee in his cheerios, but this will never happen in America as long as there are Freepers and "Freeper-like-minded individuals" who exercise their RTK&BA!

Me too. Marksmanship runs in my family. Dad's a crack shot, I can hit a fence post at 200 yards with iron sights, and my eldest son (soon to be a proud American soldier) shoots skeet with a 410 - and out-shoots me and my 12-guage.

The irrationality of the left is swelling at an alarming pace. It's either going to just fizzle-out, or there may be some isolated incidents of violence (most likely in blue areas / urban areas).
Just remember, we have all of the guns, brains and testosterone. The left doesn't stand a chance!!

I met Bob Kunst in the 1970's when I was living on Miami Beach, during his crusade against Anita Bryant.
He seemed like a pretty nice person, said he wanted to use some of my quotes in a book he was writing.
But of course that was before my conversion from Democrat to Republican during the Reagan years.
His political activities have pretty much been way out on the fringe since then. I know he REALLY hates Bush.
Like the terrorists their extremist views support, the far-left may eventually start a civil war.
But they will not finish it.
