ZOT!!! Nobody cares what you’d “actually like.”
Syracuse Post-Standard | 8-19-2005 | letter to the editor

Posted on 08/19/2005 1:36:57 PM PDT by LetsHearIt

To the editor:

One would think that the president of the United States holds the most stressful job ever. Isn't it wonderful that our pompous president is in such excellent condition healthwise? And why not? His eligible daughters aren't in Iraq protecting our country like so many others, more than 1,800 who have given their lives for a war that he started.

With a smirk on his face, he says, "We will stay the course." Who is "we?" Not him or his family. Heck no. He's on a month's vacation. If he's so gung-ho about this war, show us some guts and send your kids to the front lines. This war is not being won; the insurgents just keep on coming. And terrorism has gotten much worse since he began this senseless war.

Then, too, he has no worry about health insurance. Boy, is he covered, not like the millions who have none. And what about the poor, the homeless and those who barely eke out a living? It's not his problem. Why worry? Go on vacation. Imagine a month's vacation. No wonder he's in such good condition. And while he's gone, who's minding the store? The other pompous snake?

I would think that if Dubya likes Texas so much, he should stay there and let one who has the total concern of our nation and its people take his place. In history, I believe this president will be judged the worst ever.

"Now go remove your head from your butt and move to canada."

Please don't suggest this ... we've already got enough problems up here.

It said in a previous post that it had moved to Canada already. Our sincerest condolences.

ah-h-h-h-h Victoria, BC ~ one of my favorite cities in the world!! Y'all do have some real problems up there, don't ya.

I hate what has become of my second nation! I lived in BC for a couple of years, many years ago and loved every moment I was there. It breaks my heart to see the lefties working to create a riff between Canada & the US and I know that, like here and like always, they are actually just a very vocal minority. But it is different now that the MSM has been consolidated into just a few mega-corporations ~ their ability to manipulate information and spread disinformation on a massive scale has had a truly negative impact on us all.

Sorry if this is a rambling, nonsensical post.....just thinking of Victoria has rendered me all dreamy and nostalgic.

The Syracuse Post Standard letter section is one of the funniest I've seen. The paper is full tilt liberal, and the letter writers are no exception. A dying paper in an imploding town due to rampant Democrats...this letter is typical of the many "Bush lied," "Halliburton," "Bring the Troops Home" (insert empty-headed two-second touchy-feely rhetoric here) screeds printed in that junk paper every day.

Viking Kitty Bomber Squad Releasing Payload

I think I can confirm this is a new found transcript of the Viking Kitty (Spittin' Kittens Squadron) bomb run.
In this new video, you can hear VK Red and Blue leaders discuss trolls running scared.

Viking Kitty (Spittin Kittens Squadron) Bomb Run Video

Transcript:

Pilot: "Large group of individuals on the road, do you want me to take those out?"

Command: "Take them out."

Wing Man: "Not a good day for them."

(inaudible, but sounds like "yes sir")

VK Blue Leader: "Viking Kitty Red Leader, this is Blue Leader, Do you have a visual on all these trolls? Over."

Pilot 1: "10 seconds"

Command: "Roger"

VK Red Leader: "Roger Blue Leader, they are running scared from the Viking Kitties. Over."

Pilot: "Impact!"

Command: "Ohhhh Dude!"

Howard Dean: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Do you have any idea how much time Bubba spent "on vacation"? And did any of FDR's family die in WWII?

Absolutely! When I heard Melanie Morgan on KSFO this morning say "Send Chelsea to Bosnia" in response to the crude comments about the Bush Twins, I couldn't stop laughing.

The fools never mention the word "Bosnia" in any of their end the war chants or rhetoric. The MSM ignores it, no one brings up the fact that we still have troops over there.

Perhaps, as dedicated little FReepers, we should begin reminding our whining Congress Critters that we want updates about that temporary engagement.

The sad thing about it all is that you cannot parody these folks: you can't make up something so stupid that some left wing moonbat hasn't already said it.

Perhaps we should hold a competition:

Our president wears ties which could go for bandages the children we're sending over to Iraq need when he personally detonates some roadside bomb. And who invented bombs? America, that's who! Or at least we make more of them than anyone else. And why? Because we're bullies. We're not nice. If someone disagrees with us, first we bomb them, then throw them in a Nazi gulag, than take away they're health benefits, then make them listen to Ted Nugent. We're criminals. It's like JenJis Khan listening to Barry Mannalow on steroids. And whose fault is it? It's Bush! But not really. He's too dumb. It's Dick Cheney!
.

Well, I'm sure you can do better than that.

I would think that if Dubya likes Texas so much, he should stay there and let one who has the total concern of our nation and its people take his place.

I hear Bubba could "feel your pain"...he had so much concern for you and your feelings, he treated terrorists like criminals instead of like enemies of this country, all the while he was getting blown under the table while talking to world leaders. Yep, that twelve-year-old adolescent really cared about you above all else, didn't he?

Meanwhile, the Bush tax cuts turned loose the economy so that even with two wars, the destruction of a major landmark in terrorism on our soil (which might have been prevented if Gorlick, Bubba's chosen one, hadn't hamstrung the inteligence community), even with that, they have to raise the stinking interest rates in an effort to hold back the phenominal growth of our economy so that inflation doesn't take off.

Now, who do you think I believe cares about me? The President who it taking war to the terrorists in their homeland and making my 401K grow, or the sniggering schoolboy who cared so much about me he lied to a Grand Jury to prevent me from finding out that he got his weasel waxed while sitting in the very Seat of Power in the Oval office.

You and your friends, thanks to the power of the Internet, are being shoveled into the Dustbin of History. The schoolboy is out trying to find interns when he isn't lying about his past to protect his wife's plans to stick it to the State of NY and run in 2008.

The thing you define as a "smirk" in the President is called "being sure of your convictions" and Liberals hate him for it, because their hero couldn't decide on what to have for breakfast without fifteen public opinion polls and a staff of advisers considering all angles and how it would play in the Midwest. And I am still waiting, six stinking years now for Bubba to "explain my relationship with Ms. Lewinsky, sooner rather than later."

You backed the wrong horse, pal.

The usual Blame Bush for everything rant (ad-hominem filled liberal garbage). None of the points mentioned make sense. The author of this rant is fueled by anger because the dems lost twice, plus lost the house and senate. They can't live with their own failure, can't come up with any original ideas or programs, so it's the same old, same old. Grow up.

I'd like the name of a single soldier, marine, airman, or sailor who did not volunteer and is now actively serving. A single one would suffice.
