NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN

The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts’ two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."
Roberts’ young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his father’s Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldn’t stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josie’s and Jack’s mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES’ plans declared: “Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts’ family like this is despicable. Children’s lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.”
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. “This can’t possibly be true?”

They feel very blessed and she is three now, and just as American as if she had been born here! She's full of spit and vinegar as well! Into every thing! LOL

Remember, Roberts has worked for the Executive Branch and he has a really good idea of the types of information that was dredged up for the Clinton appointments (nannygate, etc.)
Bush himself has been burned on the issue and what is fair to say is that he never gets in the same bad situation twice.

It is very possible they were able to find two blonde haired children from S. America. As has been established in this thread, their is a very large European descent population all through S. America, S. America is also a heavily Catholic area where abortion if not outright illegal would be almost impossible to receive.
Many people adopt more than one child from the same birth mother/parents. Seeing how similar the Robert's children look, I would not be suprised if that happened in this case. Or else, the Roberts used the same adoption agency for both children and they came from the same area.
Currently, my husband and I are at the beginning stages of the adoption process, both domestic and international are possibilities. It is not unusual at all to receive pictures of fair skinned, fair eyed children from S. American countries who are available to adopt.
We need a full scale fax, phone, email freep of the old grey ho. As soon as it hits officially...we slam them.

There's lots of blonds and differering hair colors and skin tones in the populations of South America...we forget that much of South America was colonized by white Europeans....a lot of Germans settled in Argentina for example.
National Geographic and Discovery channel programs show the liberals only the "authentic" peoples of South America so the Libs naturally think all South Americans are brown skinned, straight black haired and live in the Amazon some-where!

But I say, give 'em rope! These children are too young to be aware of this, so the only real harm done will be to the NYT and knee-jerk anti-Roberts forces in general.
Isn't that the truth? They have actually figured out a way to not only nail their own coffin shut, but lower it in the ground and throw dirt on top, as well. They are killing themselves with this idiocy. How can they not see that??
I am afraid to ask, but what person could possibly think this was acceptible behavior?? People I'd not want to keep company with, that's for sure.
I hear ya about the genetics thing. I use myself as an example to the kids every year. My dad was 6'3" and my mom was 5'2". I got my moms genes for height (5'2"). My dad had clear blue eyes and my mom had dark brown eyes. I got my dads genes for eye color (green blue color)

The lady who manages our distribution partners' business in Buenos Aires is a young blonde lady with a Spanish surname. Most of the people who run the company with whom we do business in Brazil have German last names (there was heavy German migration to Brazil around the end of the 19th century, none of their ancestors arrived via U-Boats). Frankly, it makes doing business with them easy since they manage things along Teutonic (thorough, well organized, hard working) lines.
South America has a different diversity of origins than us, but they are not at all mono-racial. That being said, I would expect people like those working for the NYT to be thinking along exactly the same lines as you. You don't have any bad intent to your question. They do.
It is strange how these things shake out, I mean there is a strong resemblance amongst me and my cousins, my one cousin looks more like my dad than his own except he has blue eyes and dad are brown, and nothing funny happened that uncle was stationed in the Philippines when David was born, my dad was in Ohio!
One is a lying, unethical, left-wing rag. The other is the National Enquirer.
