I hear ya about the genetics thing. I use myself as an example to the kids every year. My dad was 6'3" and my mom was 5'2". I got my moms genes for height (5'2"). My dad had clear blue eyes and my mom had dark brown eyes. I got my dads genes for eye color (green blue color)
It is strange how these things shake out, I mean there is a strong resemblance amongst me and my cousins, my one cousin looks more like my dad than his own except he has blue eyes and dad are brown, and nothing funny happened that uncle was stationed in the Philippines when David was born, my dad was in Ohio!
