NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN

The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts’ two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."
Roberts’ young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his father’s Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldn’t stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josie’s and Jack’s mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES’ plans declared: “Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts’ family like this is despicable. Children’s lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.”
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. “This can’t possibly be true?”

My mom used to tell me that if a very rich girl got pregnant in her country, she went to live in the convent. The baby was given to some other family to raise. I think grown, professional women would be a challenge but nothing is impossible with God. Of course, what about the men :sigh: Women have to really think things through. We really do pay a larger price for immorality.

Remember the whole thing when Saturday Night Live did a skit about Chelsea Clinton being ugly and Hillary got all ticked off? Then she told the media that Chelsea is just a child and to leave her alone. They still give her a pass! Hypocritical asses.

I'm beginning to agree with your point that they will press this "bought his children" angle, possibly also with questions about the legality of the adoption, but I also think the race card will definitely be played on this as well, e.g., "Why did you go to Latin America when there are plenty of babies to adopt here?"
I am of Italian descent on both sides. My Grandmother on my mother's side was black haired and brown eyed. My Grandmother on my Dad's side was blond haired and blue eyed. My Grandad on my Dad's side was black haired and light blue eyed. I had blond hair when I was little and it darkened over the years to dark brown. I am brown eyed. My double cousin, my Mom and her Mom were sisters, and her Dad and my Dad were brothers, has black hair and blue eyes. My Dad had black hair and green eyes. So, looking at these two children, you can't possibly known what their descent is. Don't let the blond hair fool you. There are blond haired Italians, Spanish, Portugese, French, etc. Blame it on the Barbarian Hoards who invaded Europe.

The adoption records were - gasp - sealed so the left naturally assumes that the Roberts must be hiding something.
Adoption records are always sealed, you frickin' maroons!
The idea of getting adopted kids 4-5 years old deported "as a way of hurting the father" (Roberts) just reminded me of King Herod having newborn male infants killed because he'd heard of the birth of Christ. It just did, that's all.

This reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Elaine's boyfriend had the same last name as a serial killer. After Kramer [or someone] claimed that most serial killers were adopted, Elaine becomes obsessed with trying to find out if the boyfriend was adopted. (My daughter complains that everything reminds me of a Seinfeld episode.)

Well heck that goes without saying: He wanted some white kids. I happen to think that people should adopt the thousands of children waiting to be adopted in this country. Of course the truth is it's not that easy for a white couple to adopt some little black/mexican/whatever kids, because you know the black kids have "special needs" blah blah.. So they need black/mexican/whatever parents...
The real shame is that no one wants to adopt older kids of of stripes.
It's not the media's responsibility to do a background check. It's the government's.
Fools. Their motives are so transparent.
