A friend of mine in Iraq right now told me that the insurgents go up to the reporters and ask them if they would like to come watch a shelling of US troops or some other attack. The reporters just eat that up and follow the terrorists like little lap dogs. My buddy said there is such hatred and animosity for these reporters for doing this that they are quick to say that any reporter killed doing this has only himself to blame. Not only to the reporters not warn the troops that they are getting ready to be attacked, they are glorifying the attackers by broadcasting it.

"CBS cameraman" suggests an employee travelling from Black Rock. It is more likely an Iraqi or other Arab who was hired to be the cameraman/escort of a reporter.

Don't be too hard on the cameraman who was caught supporting the terrorists. As CBS employees go, he's entry level anti-American. If he were less hasty and more dedicated to the cause, he'd spend years undermining America, rather than just trying to run out and shoot a few soldiers.
Yeah, and he'd probably be lobbying for the anchor job.

Oooooooooooo, this is gonna be fun. $10 says they bury the story, deep.
To: Sloth
didn't he know he didn't need to go all the way to Iraq to
undermine the US ? Could have just gone the normal lib route and been a professor or editorial page writer.

Sounds like a fragging. If a cameraman is helping the enemy, the only mistake came with the lack of "shoveling" and "shutting up".

But .. my concern is the dems will jump on this to reprise Eason Jordan's statements about the USA targeting journalists.
Get ready!!

And there we have it. An Iraqi "freelance" cameraman. Who happens to sometimes work for CBS news. Coulda been Zarqawi for all we know.

Some of the journalists over there have been coming under fire for a couple of days now. Whose side are they on, really?

If he is an Iraqi and in civilian clothes he could be considered a spy and executed. Espionage is probably easier to prove than treason.
And may I ask....How long until the ACLU raises its scabrous head (and other parts)?
