Now, if governors told SCOTUS that their ruling was illegitimate and carried no influence on their state perogatives, now THAT would get the attention of SCOTUS.
Black robes and betrayal -- We need to hold these officials accountable through impeachment, recall, nullification, interposition and arrest where necessary.
CNN: US SUPREME COURT: ALL DEATH PENALTY CASES WITH JUVENILE KILLERS THROWN OUT! -- Two of the "children" released from death row by this ruling are the murderers and rapists Perez and Villareal who raped and murdered 15 year old Elizabeth Pena and 14 year old Jennifer Ertman in Texas about 12 years ago. They not only raped them but violated them in every orifice before beating them to death. Then they called the girls' parents and asked if they knew where their daughters were. Nice kids that SCOTUS has let off the hook.
I googled the victims' names, and the accounts of the case turned my stomach.
Men in Black is a must-read (Rush Limbaugh) -- "Most recently, Levin writes, 5 current activist justices have announced that, when they see fit, they'll use foreign law and foreign court rulings as guideposts to making their decisions, a repudiation of the constitution's mandates and limitations, and rejection of popular sovereignty."
Exactly. Jonathan Turley, an HONEST liberal, who is a Constitutional scholar, said the same thing on Fox News tonight.
Impeachment Of Supreme Court Justice(s)? -- Technically, a judge of any federal court can be impeached on whatever charge a simple majority of the House of Representatives will vote, and can be convicted and removed on whatever charge a 2/3 majority of the Senate will vote.

Folks, we all need to write, and telephone, our (ahem!) Representatives in DC ( and maybe your state capitols, too ) and inform them that if they wish to stay employed, they need to rein in this rogue court. Quickly.

When the black robed set becomes more tyrannical at an ever increasing rate, and when it writes laws day after day, how much longer before vigilantism follows it down the road.
Someone should ask these people what the result is likely to be when we can no longer trust judges.

Andrew Jackson knew the truth that the SCOTUS had no power to impliment their rulings.

Nationwide judicial term limits of 10 years and then you are out would go a long way to get the seniles out.

The impeachment is interesting, but it says technically. To get these anti-Constitution Supremes removed it would take a lot more than a simple technicality.

What do you mean no longer. The last real uprising against an outragous Judge was the removal of Rose Bird in CA. Would never happen today.

Not just Jackson. IIRC, Lincoln carried an arrest warrant for Chief Justice Roger Tanney in his pocket for about six months, "just in case."
